Cheder is special. From its focus on both the inner-spiritual and external-physical beauty of our school, Cheder delivers a love of Yiddishkeit to our students. Cheder Chabad of Baltimore is now in its 12th year, with more than 200 children from preschool through elementary: with boys elementary through 8th grade and girls elementary through 7th grade.
All the children in Cheder are soldiers in Hashem's army and have their very own uniform! As we have seen in the past, our students are very proud to wear their uniform, especially when they are aware of its importance to their role in Tzivos Hashem.
Encourage your child to dress appropriately by complimenting their uniform or by setting up a mirror moment to check if their uniform is in order before going to school - this will help channel your child's natural enthusiasm into the way they dress.A Cheder girl's uniform consists of sleeves that cover the elbows, skirts below the knee, and tights or knee socks in all weather including warmer months.

With our expanded facility and growing elementary, our budget is approximately $3 million. Over 50% of our families receive tuition scholarships that are subsidized through the tireless fundraising efforts of the school board and administration.
