Friday's Child offers 4 distinct programs with customized curriculum based on your child's age and development. Rain Drops Room - We know how important it is to nurture and educate infants from birth, and infant care is in high demand! We have two infant rooms, and each can have 6 babies from 6 weeks old up to 18 months of age.
These babies begin to recognize colors and say their first words! Rainbow Room - Things get a little more structured in the toddler room as we teach our children to recognize colors, numbers, shapes, and songs. This room follows the same schedule, including naps, lunch, and snacks. Children are in this room between 1 and 2 years of age.

Friday's Child was founded in 1995 by Susan and Thomas Klein, who saw the need for quality child care in the Baltimore area. Friday's Child is a family-oriented center who strives to meet the milestones and needs of our growing children. We are currently licensed for 53 children. We offer full time enrollment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
The first few years of a child's life represents a very active period of growing and developing. Friday's Child strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment that gives your child the opportunity to build trust, confidence, and love. Friday's Child focuses on promoting development in the following areas: social, creative, physical, cognitive, language and emotional.
We are located in the historic old National Bohemian (Natty Boh) brewery in the up and coming Brewer's Hill development in Baltimore City. Located minutes from downtown, the Inner Harbor area, and off of I95, easily identifiable by the Natty Boh tower. We schedule tours by appointment Monday through Friday.
Part I of the Health Inventory must be completed by parents and Part II must be completed by the child's pediatrician before your child may start care in Maryland. All children in Baltimore are required to get tested for lead exposure at 12 months (1 year) and 24 months (2 years). Topical OTC ointments are excluded.
Friday's Child Early Learning Center is located in the historic Natty Boh building in Brewer's Hill-Canton. We are located in the West Tower, in Suite 260. Our main entrance and lobby are located next to Canton Self Storage, directly connected to the parking lot.
At the intersection with Panera/Target, turn NORTH onto S. Conkling St. Continue across O'Donnell St. and turn RIGHT onto Dillon St, then take the first RIGHT into our 2-hour visitor parking lot.If you're heading WEST on O'Donnell Street, you can turn RIGHT at Eaton Street, into the 2-hour visitor parking lot, just before the Natty Boh building.
