I give this business 5 stars because it was the most hassle free mechanic experience I have ever had. Granted the labor cost for my repair were way more than I had wanted to pay it is what it is. Not their fault. They promised me the job could get done on short notice and did just that before I had to travel cross country. Would highly recommend considering them as an option.

We were in Avon from St. Louis and unexpectedly found we had a screw in our tire. We called Avon Auto on a Friday morning, and they told us to come on in.
As soon as we arrived, they got our keys and had our car up on the rack. It turned out the screw hadn't even punctured the tire and within 20 minutes we were on our way. Great price at $38 and we could continue worry-free on our vacation.
Very helpful, friendly, honest, and efficient! I would highly recommend them!

These guys are honest and fair! We were headed to camp for July 4th and had some concerns with warped brake rotors after Loveland pass and feeling slight shaking. They were able to take us quickly for a Free brake check (a lot of places were over booked & quoted days out), they took the time to explain everything, and they did not pressure us to move forward. The damage was minor so we opted to continue on our vacation and are going to have it fixed in Denver bc labor would be 2 hours (this is standard for the fix.) They can't guarantee we will be fine but it's rare to find a car

We thought something was wrong with our car while on a road trip and the guy came out to look at it and even test drive it to check and make sure it was safe. We were sent to Avon Auto by Enterprise Rental due to a flat tire while we were vacationing in Vail with family. The gentleman who initially greeted us clearly was having a bad day but a woman who worked there was far more pleasant and helpful. We left the car for an hour and returned. The same gentleman perfunctorily told us the tire couldn't be fixed and they had no tires in stock. Since they have a contract with Enterprise I asked if he had been in touch with them about options. He answered with a shake of the head no. I called Enterprise and was told to have the tire replaced anywhere

Where do i start.. I have been to Avon truck and auto about 10 times now to get 1 job done right. i made an appointment for work to be done and went out of my way to drop the car off when they had asked for it and they wouldn't do the work because they got to busy with walk in customers so i was rescheduled nearly every time i came in for my appointment. i had an issue with my vehicle clunking when i would accelerate, Avon auto diagnosed the problem as the CV axles which they promptly replaced and fixed my clunking issue which initially i thought was great but during this job they were also

These guys are my go-to car alignment, rotation, oil change people in Avon. They always manage to get me in and out relatively quickly and have helped me out with random questions (wiper issues, snow build-up in wheel wells, etc). They have always been very honest and up front with any other issues and never charge for unnecessary upgrades. If you are semi-aware of issues when you go in, you can more easily decipher what is needed- not sure what others were talking about saying they were overcharged. Be smart people!

They were friendly and it was easy to make an appointment. However, I didn't think my car needed all the work they said it did - a new battery, front end alignment (when I'd had it checked just a couple of months before) and a rear break job. Took it to another service center recommended by some friends and it only needed the rotors turned and a rear break job. My gut just didn't feel right about what Avon Auto & Truck was telling me. So glad I got a second opinion.

This place is the worst business in the Vail Valley! Unfortunately, this is the only place I can take my work vehicle. These idiots can't seem to get anything right!!!! I brought my truck in for an oils change and to fix my AC. Got my truck back- No A/C, and I'm not sure if they did an oil change or not because they didn't change the sticker!!!!! I am desperately seeking another place to get work done and I would never even think about taking my personal vehicle here!!! Not even for an oil change!!!

If you enjoy getting bent over, this is the place for you! Called 4 days in advance to make an appointment, owner said it's first come, first serve. Told him I had a lunch meeting across the street and he said he could fit me in. I showed up 15 minutes after he said he would have the work done, and he said it would be another 45 minutes. And he is quite rude on top of it. Then he tells me I need my brakes and rotors replaced. He must have thought I was an idiot. I just had my vehicle inspected by a reputable shop that said I had 8 mm left on my pads and I should get another 30,000 miles or
