Services
My passion has always been in helping people, through creating the safe holding space, feeling unconditional positive regard, facilitating insight, and igniting long-lasting meaning and change. Together, we can look at your presenting issues and concerns, where they may have stemmed form, and how they are continuing to affect your current functioning in order to help you lead a more satisfying and fulfilling life.
Many children and adolescents struggle at school, regardless of their age or intelligence. Whether they feel like they don't "fit in, " tend to stress about exams and homework, or avoid schoolwork altogether, there are ways to help your child adjust and identify their strengths so they can have a bright future.
One of the most stressful things in life is feeling disconnected, ignored or rejected by your partner. We offer couples counseling to help you heal from past hurts, learn a new way of engaging with one another, and create different patterns. Regardless of what has happened in the past and regardless of whether or not you stay together, your relationship can heal.
We are considered "out of network" for insurance. For all plans we will provide you with a receipt for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. If you have questions about your coverage, contact your insurance provider directly to discuss your coverage for counseling services and what, if any, reimbursement they will pay for an out-of-network provider.

Amber is the very best!! My entire experience with Fremont Counseling Services (in Fremont, CA) has been a positive one, from the initial phone call through several years of office sessions (both individual & couples therapy). I do not recommend Amber. I saw her when my ex-husband and I ended our marriage. He had been told by his counselor he had characteristics of a sociopath. My closest, and highly regarded, PsyD friend was shocked by the dialogue she allowed to occur in the room. I was extremely ill with a chronic illness and all I could do was sit there and silently take the verbal punches.

I am so glad I sought out professional help and therapy when I was going through one of roughest times in my life. I have been pretty depressed this past year and a half and made many mistakes along the way. This includes alcohol and substance abuse which led me to a dark path.
