Jennifer Redding, LCSW-C has been working in the fields of mental health and addiction for 20+ years. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia and her Master of Social Work Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
Ms. Redding has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient, residential, a non-public school setting, non-profit, and private practice. Ms. Redding has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in each of these settings. While Ms. Redding has a broad clinical experience base, she specializes in working with those who are coping with addiction, dual diagnosis and/or trauma issues.

Services
Treatment is tailored to the needs of the individual and will be guided by an individualized treatment plan based on the needs of the client, developed by the therapist and client. Counseling occurs 1:1 between the client and therapist. Interventions utilized during individual therapy include: Traditional talk therapy, Art Therapy, and other techniques deemed appropriate.
Our child, adolescent and family specialists use a variety of interventions including: Play therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Art therapy, Individual, Family, & Group therapy to assist your child process through his/her issues, enhance coping skills, and achieve personal growth.
Family therapy focuses on the family as a system and how each individual in the family impacts the other. Anyone who wants to improve troubled relationships can benefit from family therapy. Family therapy can be useful in addressing a variety of issues, such as marital and financial problems, conflict between parents and children, and the effects of substance abuse on the entire family, to name a few.
