Compassionate Mental Health

This is a 60-90 minute appointment which includes a thorough personal, family, social, previous psychiatric, and medical history. A diagnosis is formulated and options for treatment are discussed. This may or may not include medication. This is a 15-30 minute appointment focusing on response to medication prescribed.

What can a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner do for me? A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management (including prescribing medication) of mental illness and psychological problems. A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner has completed advanced education and training and is nationally certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to practice in the field of psychiatry.

CMH, LLC does not participate with any insurance plans, nor bill them directly at this time. A statement for fees paid can be provided at each visit for submission to the insurer for reimbursement as the plan allows. Payment is due at the time of service via cash or credit card. If paying with a Health Saving Account card, please be sure there are adequate funds in the account to cover the cost of services.

In general, the HIPAA privacy rule gives individuals the right to request a restriction on uses and disclosures of their protected health information. The individual is also provided the right to request confidential communications or that a communication of Private Health Information be made by alternative means, such as sending correspondence to the individual's office instead of the individual's home.

Despite the current Pandemic and associated restrictions I am continuing to see new patients. However, this is via Telehealth visits only. A strong internet connection AND a device with a microphone and webcam are REQUIRED. Helpful information to provide: age of patient, general symptoms and/or diagnosis if known, current psychiatric medications (if applicable).
