Services
This juicy New England style IPA is brewed with a blend of Zamba, Amarillo and Waimea hops which produce a wonderful fruit, tangelo and piney flavor and aroma. This is a traditional South German style unfiltered wheat beer with a Colorado twist! Brewed with CO grown Wheat and Pilsen malt from our local maltster's at Proximity Malt and fermented with Weihenstephan Hefeweizen yeast.
We were born from the idea that a true Brewpub celebrates all family members. We are a place that welcomes all ages, allows you to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and serves Dam good food and beer. Serving Dam good food and beer is still our mission to this day. We update and rework our menu every summer and winter to offer more flavor, more nutrition and more hand-crafted items.
We cook the food and you pick it up hot for your party, open house, reunion or sporting event watch party. Let us do the cooking so you can enjoy your guests. Although it seems all we do is talk about our beer; we do have a full-service bar, a great value wine list and an assortment of cordials and after dinner drinks.
Gluten free corn tortilla chips topped with jalapenos, black beans, diced tomatoes, cilantro, melted jack and cheddar cheeses, served with our fresh salsa, sour cream and scallions. Four cheeses blended with our Dam Straight Lager Beer, which gives a slight bitterness to the sharp cheeses. Served with your choice of fries or corn tortilla chips.
Any burger is available gluten friendly - no bun nor fries. Substitute these with a brewhouse salad for $2. Regarding the safety of the beef, bison and chicken, written information is available upon request: Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.

Not far off the interstate, and adjacent to the shopping mall, the Dillon Dam Brewery is perfectly located for a quick bite while passing through or heading home from the ski resorts. Their menu stands out among the neighboring competition, embodying an extensive list of great dishes. Give yourself extra time to peruse the menu and sort out which of the many dishes sounds best. One recommendation was the chicken fried chicken, paired with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was moist and coated in an appreciably thick breading. The breading was very palatable, containing a variety

Got the onion rings, pretzel bites, chicken fried chicken, and the seafood chowder. The pretzel bites weren't bad, nice and fluffy. The onion rings were crunchy but the ranch it came with tasted a bit watered down.
The chicken fried chicken was solid and very filling, same with the chowder. Very filling and hearty. Great spot for beers!

We love this place! Anytime we are in the mountains we try to make an effort to go by here specifically to get their French onion soup! We have turned a bunch of our friends onto it as well and it's definitely a fixture to our mountain life. Anticipate a little bit of a wait but it's totally worth it! There is a parking lot so you don't have to waste time looking for street parking.

Food was fine, beers were good, service once seated was great. Hostess was very rude, like we were bothering her by walking through the door. Hostess with glasses was sweet & helpful but the long haired brunette (who was just bossing the other one around as she was helping bussing tables) was really rude. Upon arrival she actually had her feet resting on the host stand, then the eye rolling ensued. Provided solid entertainment for our group the rest of the evening.

They brew all of their own beer in the restaurant which is really cool to see the process! Our service was not very fast but was cheerful. We got the DAM Bison burger. It was good. I had the peach beer which was tangy. Overall our group of five had a good diner with good food, beer, and conversation.

This is the worst service i have ever experienced. i got here and was told an hour. it has been 3 hours and i have not gotten seated yet. i expect the service for my food to be just as horrid. Service took a long time but not to terrible. After we got the bill we saw that they took off 30% for us because we waited so long. food was ok. nothing to come running back for.

Heard this place was really good....just bar food. Ordered the trout, very dry and overcooked. Had 7 people, the salads were good. Bartender told me he didn't really want to make the drink I wanted...so I ordered something else....had an hour wait at a table we could have been served at but it was just for waiting???....other good options around I would have preferred to wait for.

Awesome place!
We went with our family of four around 5pm. They definitely get busy so plan to wait if you go during peak dinner hours.
What I most appreciated about Fam brewery is we communicated directly Roy with the management to ask some questions regarding allergen items on the menu. We have one kiddo with some specific allergy requirements and the staff was beyond helpful, responsive, and accommodating! We were very thankful, most restaurants are not so accommodating.
That aside, the food was awesome. I really enjoyed the stew! Awesome place, will return- thanks to the management and cooking

I'll be generous and go with four stars since the beer is really excellent but the overall experience apart from the beer is more like three stars. We were seated quickly but in a sort of kiddie section with kids at multiple surrounding tables. Once some of the tables with kids left it returned to a more normal brewery experience. Our waitress seemed a little overextended and was initially okay but then didn't check on us when we were ready to order more beers and didn't provide water for the table. The chile beer and the Dillon Dam Session IPA were excellent. The beer here is what

The best dam place to come for an apres-ski beer.
Be prepared to grab a beeper and wait for a table if you're visiting during ski season. A microbrew lover's paradise! Dillon Dam Brewery makes their own beer on-site, and there's always a wide variety of choices available on tap. While this could be a little overwhelming, fear not! The laid-back yet attentive staff are well-versed in the selection and know just the right questions to ask customers to help them select the perfect beer. And, if you don't happen to like it, they will cheerfully bring you a different pour.

We came into town to visit the kids and got some breweries. They had stopped in a few times before but there was always a long wait. Tonight we came a little earlier, 7-ish, and walked right in. You can tell these guys have been brewing craft beer a long time. Everything we tried was good.
There's a lot of character in the building and all the wait staff were very friendly and attentive.

Don't waste your time or money. The host was rude and dismissive, one word sarcastic answers to every question or comment. Same with his counterpart. Wait time quoting is inaccurate and the food is mediocre. Chicken was rubber and $19 for 5 fried shrimp feels very excessive, especially considering their 'quality.'
They were quick to recommend another restaurant up the road and encouraged we go there several times. We should have listened.

I've been here quite a few times over the years. Always good beer and good people. For the food, I usually sick to the burgers, which they do very well, but I was in the mood for some chicken tenders today. It's not very good. I really like salt and these were very salty, even for me. The breading wasn't that great either. Stick with beer and burgers.

We had just finished a hike on the Ptarmigan trail in Silverthorne, Co., and we were looking for a place to stop for a drink. Also, It was pretty late, and we were trying to find a place that was still open. Luckily, Dillion Dam closed at 10 pm. They had a nice selection of craft beers and I couldn't resist trying the S'mores Bread Pudding. And let me just say, it was amazing.

We stopped here on our way to Breckenridge. We got here around 11:30 a.m. for lunch. It was a nice house so we sat out on the patio which was very nice. The Food was delicious I had chicken fried chicken, which came with green beans mashed potatoes and Southern onions. The place was clean and the atmosphere was laid back and comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. So if you're near Dillon dam or jusy passing through I would recommend this restaurant.

We stopped here on our way up to Aspen and I am so glad we have a new place to stop in this town! The Caesar salad may have been the best one I've ever had! My husband really enjoyed the Sweet George's brown beer and his burger. He also took home a growler and so he's very happy. Even Our waitress was extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommend eating here!

The fire pits were nice and they used radio transmitters.
They had T-shirts and they are worth it.
Ordered margaritas and nothing above average. My wife had a bowl of chili with cheese and beans, and it was good. I ordered a custom burger with cheese, bacon, mustard medium rare and it was delivered medium. Very ordinary. We also ordered fries, corn dog, and onion rings. It was all very ordinary and average.
So if you want a very average experience, I'd come here. We will probably try it again in the future, but not good enough to make a trip.
