The first key to any successful cleaning is understanding the root cause for the problem. The wrong reason can lead to disaster, or less than desired results.
NESBITT can analyze your deposit or tube sample, to determine the root cause of fouling or corrosion, using deposit composition and stratification analysis, deposit weight density analysis, and solubility studies, as well as metalurgical analysis to understand the underlying effects of the deposit. We'll model flow and heat transfer effects of these deposits where applicable.

Air Blowing is now considered the best practice for cleaning Fuel Gas systems by Industry, with EPRI's recently developed guidlines on the use of air or nitrogen in compressed pneumatic blows. There is stil considerable danger in this type of pneumatic blowing, however the potential for thermal explosion has been eliminated in this technique.
Thess unique mass flow meters and transmitters measure compressible gas flow at the very high velocities found in steam/air blowing. This BlowMeter can withstand the high structural stresses found in these blowing techniques, while creating a very low permanent dP in the line. A 4-20 mA current loop directly ranged to gas flow is provided.
With today's climate of mergers and acquisitions in the industrial cleaning business, the historical significance of the people who came before us is being lost everyday. The initial knowledge base that they built for this business is our heritage. It will review the history of the industrial cleaning business, back to 1931 or thereabouts when it was really born.
