At Especially for Children, we feel privileged to partner with you in promoting the growth and development of your child. Our caring and professional staff will develop meaningful relationships with your child-and with you. We seek to create a community where you can also connect with other families in this fun and busy time of life.
Priscilla Williams made an overnight decision to take over two child care centers that were on the brink of closing down. With her B.A. in Child Psychology from the U of M, as well as her early education teaching certificate, Priscilla aimed to create centers which were fun, positive, challenging, and child-centered.

Especially for Children is a privately owned organization established in 1976 for the purpose of providing quality care for young children. Nurturing staff and carefully designed settings combine to enhance children's emotional security and self-esteem. Welcome to Especially for Children Child Development Center in Bloomington. Our child care center serves infants from 6 weeks up to preschool age children in a caring, nurturing, and educational environment. At EFC, your child will feel safe and loved while she learns and grows. Teachers provide many educational and fun activities throughout the day to keep your child engaged and happy while you are away.
