Cassie met her now husband at UT and after graduation, life took them to South Texas, where they eventually married. In prepping for her own wedding, Cassie realized event planning was what she was meant to do! Once returning to Austin, she gained experience working in hospitality with other wedding planners and resorts.

When we first started planning our wedding, my (then) fiance and I weren't convinced that we needed a wedding planner as it seemed like a nice-to-have luxury and unnecessary expense. Cassie Morales was the best decision I made for our wedding team. She helped me through the worst case scenario of postponing our wedding due to the pandemic and made it so much better then it would have been. She was a great source of comfort and was constanly available to help in anything I needed. She is such a warm presence and is so kind that it made planning the wedding that much easier. Hands down the highlight of my wedding was working with Cassie and her team. She was fantastic from the moment we booked her to over two and a half years later (we postponed). We had the pleasure of working with Cassie for our micro wedding. Due to Covid, we completely changed our plans and Cassie played a large role in putting together the most wonderful, intimate wedding for us in about three months time. Wow, I cannot speak highly enough about the team at HDE! I worked with Taylor closely throughout the event planning process and was repeatedly impressed with her vision, details, and organization. Oh and this was all while she was planning major events for SXSW so props to her for being there for her clients throughout her super busy season.

My wife and I worked with Amber from heavenly day events for our wedding two years ago. We should have known from the first meeting that she would be a disaster. Within 30min of meeting her she was trying to tell my wife what she can and cannot do for her wedding. Later during the wedding she came up to my wife and told her that her guests were not having fun. To make matters worse, during our rehearsal I had to lead because she wasn't even clear on the order for the day. Literally I think the only thing she helped with for the entire process was making sure the contractors we hired arrived
