Little Harry's
A favorite of locals, visitors, Killington Skiers, prom dates, families, traveling salesmen, leaf peepers, Castleton students, and Paramount Theater Goers, it's a great place to meet for a drink, graze on appetizers or plunge into an entire soup to nuts extravaganza including our homemade desserts.

Our menu is energetic, imaginative and diverse. We love to cook and love even more to eat! Our bright palate of flavors has garnered a very loyal following over the past twenty-two years since we opened. We are pleased to present you with our menu online because we believe once you have read our offerings; you'll be making dinner plans with us soon.

Take VT Route 4 West toward Rutland. At intersection in Rutland with Route 7 at the light, turn left. At the immediate next light by the Mobil station, turn right on West Street (RT 4A). Proceed to the bottom of the Hill. Go straight through 1st light. Little Harry's will be on your right -121 West Street.
Little Harry's is a Downtown Rutland favorite. It features casual atmosphere and an extensive menu that includes entrees from Thailand, India and American favorites - steak, chicken, seafood and good looking vegetarian fare. Harry's boasts a great bar for apps and drinks as well. The menu is huge and diverse.
Little Harry's not only has excellent food and portion sizes, but the prices are unbeatable. Comparable retsaurants in Rutland are 3-4 dollars higher or more. I highly recommend Harry's. I wanted to get away from some of the touristy places in Killington even though we were staying there and from what I could tell online Little Harry's was a good place to try in nearby Rutland.
Very friendly people who can't do enough for you. The ambiance is cozy and warm and the menu choices are slightly different but very nicely prepared. Wide variety of entrees - chicken, beef, seafood and pasta for under $20. Nice bread basket and salad. Clean and a very mixed crowd. Who knew a little downtown joint on the main street of Rutland could be so great?! Terrific bartender (Jack) wonderful, ambitious menu and fine quality ingredients.

We were lucky to grab a high top on a busy night without a reservation - glad we did! Food was excellent. Lots of variety and seasonal specials on the menu.

A fantastic restaurant with a menu to satisfy anyone's cravings! Went for the first time tonight thanks to a birthday gift card for our trip to VT and so glad we did! Service was fabulous, food was better than we expected, and the restaurant is cozy and inviting. Gets busy so make a reservation esp for later (630/after) dining, worth a wait if there is one! Thank you for a great meal!

Little Harry's is always a great place to go for very good food and very good service. We go there several times a year. They're always crowded so make a reservation. We were lucky to get seats at the bar. Highly recommended in Rutland.

We got the hot apple cider with rum which was beyond decadent and the garlic bread which was basically like the most delicious grilled cheese sandwich. The eggplant parm and meatballs and ravioli and were both so good! Would highly recommend this place!

Always a favorite! The staff is the first thing that I love about this gem in Rutland. Many of the servers are family and if they aren't, they have become family. My husband and I come here often and recently took my in laws for their first experience. Since then, they have gone back three times! My father in law loves the portion sizes! My mother in law loves the seafood specials. I have a seafood allergy and there is a lot of great options for me. My favorite is the stuffed pork chop. It is AMAAHHHZING. The owner Jack, is often behind the bar and makes the best dirty martini EVER. If we could

Took my father and family here to celebrate his 80th birthday. We had a party of 9 and we had our own room to ourselves which was perfect for our group. Upon reading Yelp recommendations, we had the calamari and the green curry mussels to start. The mussels definitely had a kick, but the creamy coconut base was a nice compliment to the spiciness of the sauce. The bread cake at just the right time for dipping! We wound up getting a second order of the calamari bc the younger teens devoured the first too quickly! Like the fresh salsa that was presented with it as opposed to the typical marinara

This is hands down the best restaurant in Rutland (I was here for a few weeks and tried most all). I love that meals come with a salad and bread, and definitely recommend "upgrading" to the Greek salad. We initially found the menu a bit perplexing at first glance, as it's electric with obvious Thai influence, but when the food comes out, oh man! So good! The stuffed Duck is to die for, salmon delicious, pork chop phenomenal. Round it out with great service and a good selection of wine, what more can you ask for. This is just one of those places you'll come back to again and again whenever you're

Let me put it simply. If you are in Rutland and if you are hungry and if you want a great meal just go to Little Harry's.
They advertise and for good reason that they have the best pork chops. It's true!
Classic dishes with a twist. I don't know who is in the kitchen but if I had a restaurant I'll hire the chef.
When it comes to service, and most specifically the host, bartenders and waiters it might be great or it might be very bad. .
Eye contact, acknowledgement , a few words to greet the customers like you mean it, don't walk back in the kitchen empty handed

For me this was the best restaurant in Rutland. Better than the expensive steakhouse and all of the other local eateries. I actually didn't know what to think of the menu when I saw it at first. You guys sell flautas, fish and chips, red Thai curry AND lobster ravioli? That to me sounds like the place can't make up its mind. And while I've seen many places with such a random menu go astray, I give Little Harry's a pass. I told the waiter I WANTED the Thai curry but figured I would get the chicken parm to be safe. And while he tried to convince me that while the chef isn

Awesome atmosphere to begin with. Everyone at this restaurant is super nice and friendly. We started off with the fried shrimp. Was perfectly cooked and the sauce on the side complimented the app very well. The meals came out quickly and were all Delicious and full of flavor. The only gripe I have with the restaurant is the appetizers portion sizes are very small for the price you pay. We ordered the ravioli nachos and there was only 4 of them. (Table of 4)

We had a great time at Little Harry's. We were in Killington for the weekend and had made a reservation at what was supposed to be a nice place in the area, but it didn't pan out. We ended up walking out, and were left searching for a restaurant with tables open on a Saturday night during a pandemic. No big deal! Luckily for us we scored a table at Little Harry's later in the evening.

I had to say I was a little skeptical about the menu. I want to write about it since I know others are thinking it. It's weird that they are like a combo Italian/Thai restaurant, right?? Well

I was in Rutland VT for one night and ate solo at the bar at Little Harry's. I decided on two appetizers as my dinner. The Green Curry Mussels were among the best mussels I've ever had. Make sure you get some bread to soak up all the yummy sauce. The Steamed Ginger Chicken Wontons were also good.

There are only a few restaurants you can go where the owner is your bartender and waiter. Jack is an amazing person. Incredibly friendly and funny! The food on the other hand- is incredible. Shout out to the chefs!

The "Pad Thai" is a staple on their menu. Maybe try it with the homemade peanut sauce! The rice noodles are always perfectly cooked and the variety of veggies is flavorful! I personally like the shrimp!

The "Green Curry Mussels" are amazing (the best mussels I've ever had!) This dish has a little Kick from the green curry, so if you like spicy, you&apos

The Pad Thai is awesome, huge portion.
I had a burrito once and couldn't eat it all.
It's a small place, so plan on waiting or make reservations.
There is a bar as well.
Service us always top notch and friendly.
We will go again.

There are a number of advantages to visiting the Killington, Vermont area in the off (summer) season. 1--The cooler temperatures are a welcome contrast to the sweltering heat and humidity in NYC. 2--While you can't ski, the hiking is outstanding. And, 3--there are less tourists which means that you can enjoy local restaurants which would otherwise be super crowded. Little Harry's is one of those local places.

A friend and I stopped by on our first night in Vermont. Little Harry's has a cozy, welcoming vibe, even before they greet you. The décor is very nice.

The menu has

How have I not reviewed Little Harry's yet?!
Little Harry's is one of our local favs. A little of everything on the menu, from seafood to steak to burgers to pad Thai! (By the way, get the pad Thai!)
Specials every night that are always very delicious. Want your food Gluten-free? There's options for that. Want it vegetarian? No prob. Want to substitute something? Go for it! Want to make 5 requests because you have other dietary restrictions? They act like they don't mind! Good beer selection. Proper liquor bar. Nice wine. This place may be small, but it's great. Had dinner at Little Harry's the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Came on a whim exploring some local eateries in the area. We called first around 6:10 to see what time they were open until and we were told they were busy and there was no space until at least 7:30pm even the bar was full. After the phone call I went to Open Table and they had a ton of spots so I went ahead and made a reservation on there. Walked into the restaurant with that reservation and was seated right away. Not sure why I got that response on the phone when there were quite a few tables open.

Our server was nice, and

The place is always packed, and for a good reason! The atmosphere is very homey, warm, and inviting. Dimmed lighting, small space, lace curtains on the windows, flower pots suspended from the walls. Perfect for a date or any kind of family/friend outing.

The service is pleasant and welcoming, not too intrusive. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful with menu suggestions.

To start the dinner, everyone gets a complementary garden salad and fresh bread, which is a nice touch to calm the hunger before the delicious meal. Get their in house made dressing--you'll love it!
