As one of the premier dentists in Escondido, Dr. Todd McMaster has selected a superior team. We have several team members who have been with McMaster Dental for more than 15 years, and even a few who have been with us for 25 years. We have an extremely low staff turnover - unless they move away, no one leaves us!
Because of his love for science, Dr. Todd McMaster has always had an interest in the medical field. Initially, he contemplated entering the orthodontics surgery field, but because he wanted to spend more time with his family, he decided dentistry was a better fit. Just left this dental practice after my initial appointment after not seeing a dentist for years. All I can say is this was a great experience for me. Zachary McMaster's chair side manner is so inviting and friendly. Joanne was the dental assistant and she was friendly and fun to have taking pictures of your mouth. So glad I found them.

I have needed several procedures and they have all turned out perfectly. They are honest and will avoid unnecessary procedures. These guys are the best around !!

It’s great to find a top notch dentist. The last good dentist I had was 15 years ago, but then he retired. Since then, I’ve bounced around different dentists but was never delighted with the dentist or experience. Now that my family has found McMaster Dental we couldn’t be happier. I had three fillings replaced today and no pain and total professionalism. Thank you

I am not a fan of the dentist, but ever since I've been to the McMaster Dental office, I feel more and more at ease. Both Dr. McMasters are very professional and kind, they take time to make you feel at ease and cared for. Nobody likes to go to the dentist, but if you go McMaster, you at least don't have to be anxious about going. McMaster dental has to be the best dentist office in San Diego. I've been going here for about 4 years after having a lot of bad experiences with other dentists in Carlsbad. The office is clean, all the staff are friendly/great. My former dentist was like a car salesman, always inventing expensive problems and making lots of little appointments in order to keep billing insurance. Not at McMasters'. If there is a problem, they will tell you and sometimes fix it on the spot

I started going to McMaster Dental a few years ago when I moved to San Diego and every visit has been great. Dr. McMaster and his team are true professionals and provide excellent care and are always warm and friendly. I have REALLY sensitive teeth and gums and was terrified to get my teeth cleaned after the dental hygeniest I'd been going to for 20 years retired. But, today Amber worked on my teeth at the office and it was PERFECT!! She did a great job and I didn't experience any pain or discomfort. Two thumbs up for Amber!

I've been going to Dr. McMaster for over 10 years and have always been pleased with the my treatments and the overall experience. A little mishap on a bike happened and I chipped off half of my front tooth! Talk about traumatic!! Dr. McMaster got me in the next day and worked with me to get the perfect matching crown to replace my front tooth, diligently matching the temporary crown so I was happy while the lab made my permanent crown. Let me tell you, matching it to my expectation was not an easy task with me being a very particular patient. It was my front tooth for peets sake!! Dr. McMaster

Thanks to me coming from an former socialized medicine country, made me build up a ton of fear towards dentists. Dr. Todd McMaster put all those fear to ease and he truly is an artist in Dentistry. He took all the time I needed just to make sure I am completely happy with his work. And boy, am I happy! Unfortunately I will have more dental work needed to be done, but without a doubt Dr. McMaster has made me believe in Dentists again, at least in him :) He listens, gives you advise and does exactly what you ask him to in his professional manner and expertise. Can honestly say one of the best dental experiences I've ever had! I've been considering s change for awhile, but it's hard when you've been with the same dental group for 10+ years. But after some events that left me having mild panic attacks every time I thought about going to the dentist, I knew I had to make the move. Dr. McMaster was a referral and I'm so glad I followed my intuition! Now the whole family is considering a change! Thanks to Dr. McMaster and his warm and friendly staff!

I've been coming to this dental office for well over 20 years. Now my grown, married children come (even driving over 100 miles for 2 years until they moved closer). Having a dentist, and team that are professional, knowledgable, thorough, friendly, calming (that's for me!) fair and welcoming is huge!!! I cannot imagine going anywhere else (I drive over an hour). Thank you, thank you for making what normally would be an anxious, nerve wracking experience, one that I actually look forward to! I would and do recommend you to everyone!

Dr McMaster is super friendly and very throughout. Did stuff I've never had a dentist do before when I was a new patient. I was surprised and impressed. All the staff actually are friendly and helpful. I've had several other dentist push cosmetic stuff on me hard, and it was very off putting like a used car dealer. However, when I was new, Dr McMaster kindly asked if I was interested in it at all. I said I wasn't, and that was the end of it. Very happy.

I have had this Dentist when I was a teenager and while going through college. The hygienist and dentist were really friendly and fun to talk to. The wait isn't too bad, just make sure to get there in time for your appointment, they also give you a phone call a day in advance to make sure you don't forget.
Unfortunately, I had to leave the area due to work, I just hope that my next Dentist is just as good a Mcmaster.

Todd McMaster is a wonderful choice for a dentist. His office is very clean, and the staff is all very hospitable. Furthermore, his work is done with care and consideration of his patients. I once had four teeth extracted and doc used eight needles... Didn't feel a thing. I'd recommend him to anyone.

I hate the dentist, probably like most people. However if I must go to the dentist I will only go to McMaster dental. I am one of those who don't like people poking, scraping, or grinding around in my mouth. But for some reason I don't mind allowing the people at McMaster dental to do it. The staff here don't pretend that "dental fear" does not exist. They are sensitive to your fears and discomfort and do whatever they can to alleviate pain. They are super friendly. I highly recommend McMaster dental.

He is very thorough in explaining the procedures and eases any of your concerns with concrete examples and a proven track record. I transferred my kids to his practice when their pediatric dentist retired. My children who are very picky and do not tolerate any level of pain, have not had any trouble with him at all. His office staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
