It's extremely old and outdated. There are no amenities other than an unsecured Wi-Fi. Only 2 towels in bathroom. The shower floor was falling apart at the drain. The mattresses were probably from 1970 since they had no support and dipped by the headboard. It was NOT worth the price! It reminded me of a cheap motel you'd find off the highway on the mainland.

I’ve never reviewed anything on this app but I honestly feel like these reviews give this place a bad rep. As a local, I guess I’m not as bothered by bugs but I didn’t see any in or around my room, just one or two sunbathing lizards on the stairs. I would’ve preferred curtains but the slats are pretty heat/sound proof which is the most important thing. The kitchen was cute and the bathroom was spacious, the shower was a little small but the water pressure and temperature was great. Some reviews complained about the toiletries but I quite liked the scents and eco conscious packaging. The

The night we checked in we were charged $82 extra on top of what What is already paid. The toilet did not work for the first three days. the maintenance man went in at least three times on the third day they finally moved us upstairs which we discovered cockroaches and bugs all over the bathroom sink. There was only one roll of tissue no dishes or utensils. Most places at least have coffee there is no coffee pot no containers for ice. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back to the city but if I Do we will not be staying here.

2 night trip. Wasnt expecting anything fancy. When we woke up on day one- i was covered in bed bug bites and itchy beyond reason. we had all day activities planned and left before the front desk opened, so i had to deal. Called once during the day. They "screen calls" lol and no one answered. We got back to our room late in the day, went by the front, no one there. Since i had tried to reach out two different ways, i contacted Hopper support and the hotel reservations email. Wish i could include the screenshot of the snarky attitude my problem was met with. I actually loved my stay here. It's not fancy or anything, but location is perfect. Staff was so accommodating. I laughed at the bathroom tiles. All white everywhere and one grey one. "Oh, we are all out of white tiles.. but we have a grey one..." kindof added to the charm for me. I happen to be local and complaints about bugs are because it is HAWAII. Not the hotel's fault.

Overall chill setup, I liked it. I wanted to give this place a lower review because of what I expected, but was pleasantly surprised with the setup. Our room was roomy, pretty clean. Pool was cloudy, didn’t want to go in. Location is killer proximity to Waikiki area. People weren’t too friendly, heavy charges if you lock yourself out, but not bad for a cheap spot. I’d come back.

I recently booked here on April 8th, and dropped in during the evening around 6pm. I just wanted to say that although I didn't manage to catch her name before check out, the lady that worked the front desk was very polite, cordial, and friendly!
She was very helpful from the get go, and helped me with all of my questions and inquires, and went above and beyond to make me and my significant other feel welcomed, and hospitable.
So, I just wanted to say thanks again.
Sorry I didn't catch your name to refer this review to! If you aren't the manager already, you should be. :)

Hubby, daughter, myself along with our puppy, Duke is staying here for a couple of nights. Cheapest hotel to stay at. We ended up parking two blocks away in a parking structure that you pay on a daily basis. No free parking is always a negative.
The hotel smells like bleach which is not a pleasant scent but at least it's clean, I guess. Bleach smell went away after a few hours of us staying here.
Bathroom looks very outdated and not clean. The faucet has some residue over time. It's just okay but my expectations were a little higher. The last hotel we were at was better than this hotel

I didn't have time to enjoy the pool but other guests are loud and obnoxious. The inside of the room is cozy and there's a microwave and a fridge, that bathroom is pretty spacious too. Staff is nice but was understaffed when I was there, it's right across seven eleven a good location in Waikiki and there's a restaurant downstairs. Overall an average stay.

The rooms are older, needs a lot of upgrading. The door and windows don't shut all the way so you can hear everyone outside and they can probably hear you. The toilet is old, took a few flushes to flush the toilet paper down the toilet. The shower was leaking and the bathroom had no door so I heard it all night.
Expensive for parking and it's on the opposite of the street, there's no security cameras, the signs were small so you couldn't even see the sign that it was assigned parking. You wouldn't even know that it was their parking stalls because it has other names

This hotel is horrible! Rooms beatup. Parking is on next street over under some apartments. $35 a night! They use keys for their rooms! I guess the key got caught on with my car keys when I took it out of my pocket. $150 charge. Booked the room for 3 nights while my house got fumigated but I'm leaving to sleep in my car. That's how bad this place is! Thought I booke the Pagoda by Ala Moana. Did not know there was this dump with the same name.

Wow! The only things working for this hotel are the morning coffee, clean towels, friendly staff, AC, walkability and the pool (that I didn't use).
Don't let these photos fool you. The place is run down and dilapidated. There is junk all over the facility, old couches and broken things. I had a studio unit that was spacious but things were just falling apart. Even light bulbs needed changing. Half the blinds were missing and outdated, etc. Also located on the Saratoga side of heavy loud traffic all night long. At least I never heard neighbors tv, their kids or anything. But, when they

Haha soo ever been catfished by a hotel/motel? I booked this place because I thought the price was right for a decent looking room to celebrate my birthday (based on the pictures provided on the inter web) but imagine my shock when it didn't match up to the room their website said I was paying for. The pictures made the rooms seem nicer than they appear but in reality, if you really just need a place to stay and you don't mind the conditions of it then you can stay here. It's not bad bad--but some of the lights/lamps were broken, cleanliness and condition of the room is 6/10, and

My bad for not looking at the reviews before booking. My boyfriend decided to take me on a last-minute Valentine's weekend trip to HI, so we didn't have much time to find a place to stay. I knew it was going to be a motel experience, since it was relatively inexpensive, but I was not expecting a completely Third World country experience for close to $200/night.
As other reviewers have noted, the pictures on the website are completely misrepresentative of what the actual rooms look like (perhaps there are one or two that look like the pics?). Our room had barren

This hotel is old and shows sign of wear.
Here are what we liked about the hotel:
The front desk staff is friendly and helpful.
The kitchenette is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, a refrigerator, and microwave.
Bed and pillows comfortable.
There is coffee service at front desk in the morning.
Hotel is in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and beach.
Here are what we didn't like about the hotel:
A $17.24 daily resort fee includes housekeeping but there is no daily service nor room service.
On line description incorrect

This was the worst experience ive ever had at a motel. Stayed there on new year's eve/last night. We made reservations ahead of time. We told them we have a suburban and they said they have parking. When we arrived the parking stall was way to small. The room was disgusting. We paid 300 dollars for one night. We were told to park at the kalakaua plaza. We went out and got back and the kalakaua plaza parking was full. All lots in the general area was full. We asked them for help they had no solutions for any problem. I had to park at the hilton and walk back.

I think the worst hotel I have ever been to. First the room AC wasn't on when we checked in so we had to wait for the room to get cold. Second, breakfast is not even included. Third our shower wasn't even working(barely working). Fourth, there was no parking. I mean you really get what you pay for but it's close by to the beach and all the restaurants in Waikiki.

Inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Got to stay here on a summertime weekday.
Positives:
+ The price. Not many rooms in Waikiki under 100 per night. Good luck looking.
+ Room size. King size bed. Mini kitchen. Large bathroom.
+ walking distance from the beach
+ swimming pool for a late night dip
+ customer service. Front desk lady was able to help me out and check out early
+ the Bed. Got some good sleep after the noise went down.
Improvements:
- The locks. Old school key style and no deadbolts.
- No front desk after 10pm.
- Loud people swimming past 10pm.
- The blinds.
