I had a great experience with DBL Check. I called on a Friday looking to get a very quick turnaround for a home inspection in Austin, and they were able to have someone out the very next morning at 9 am. The inspector was polite and efficient, and got me the report by the following afternoon. My agent told me it is the most extensive and detailed report he has ever seen. Very pleased with the experience and highly recommend.

Based on our recent experience with Aaron at DBL Check, their five star rating is well deserved and I'd like to continue the string. Our inspection date had to be re-scheduled three times because of the winter storm in Austin the week of Feb. 15th. Aaron was always very responsive and flexible. Because our option period was running out, he worked on a Sunday and Monday to get the report to us after a Saturday inspection. He was thorough and very knowledgeable about the systems in the unit. All-in-all, we had a great experience with Aaron and DBL Check.

All the 5 star ratings in here is for a reason. After checking all the great reviews online I decided to go with DBL check and specifically asked for one inspector because several people had good reviews about him. Unfortunately our experience with him was just average and we guessed something was not right. On sharing our concerns the owner contacted me in couple of hours for full refund and explained the inspector was indeed going through some problems that particular day. Everyone has their highs and lows and its quite normal. The call back and refund from owner without me requesting goes on

Fast, reliable, and painstakingly thorough. We used DBL twice for 2 different properties, working with Allan both times, once even the morning right after me scheduling the night before. I wasn't present during the inspections due to the 'rona but his extremely detailed report put us entirely at ease. His report and the repair estimates helped us at the negotiation table and also guide renovations with contractors. Would highly recommend, especially with properties that may have a lot of hidden issues.

I have used this company on two different houses during the process of buying my first home. I worked with Ore the first time because he was on the schedule and then the second time I specifically requested him because he was sooooo amazing.

I never thought my real estate agent would talk so bad about the inspection report produced by DBL Check. To me, this is a sign that DBL is working for the buyer and not the seller. My report was so thorough that even my agent said it was the first time she has seen anything like it. She also mentioned that the inspection company nitpicks every little detail because they want to avoid a lawsuit. I think she was just sour because I decided to cancel the contract due to the items pointed out in the inspection report.

The company we were trying to hired didn't respond for the inspection, and because we were under contract we had to move as quick as possible to get our inspection completed as soon as possible.
Long story short, after giving up with this other previous company, It took me about 7-10 minutes to schedule the appointment for the next day.

Ore Brooks came over on time, and did a very thorough inspection of the home. He gave us a detailed report, and sat down to explain things to us. The final report serves as a good TODO list for our new home.

If you expect your inspection company, to whom you pay an extra fee for the specific inspection of a sprinkler system, to find that 3 out of the 6 valves are completely malfunctioning and 2 of the working valves have water leaks, then I would highly suggest keep looking for a different company as both of these issues were missed on our recent (2019) inspection by Darren Bentz.
Additionally, it took several days and multiple follow-up calls to finally speak with the founder of the company (Aaron Calhoun) only to be provided excuses and deflection of responsibility - even after hiring an irrigation
