Our mission is to show and share the love of God, as seen in the good news of Jesus Christ, by providing integrated affordable and quality health care to those who need it most. Covenant Community Care is a faith based charitable non-profit Community Health Center, serving the people of Metro Detroit, that seeks out, heals, and strengthens over 20,000 people every year through services like medical, dental, OB-care, behavioral health, and vision.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we offer integrated medical, dental and behavioral health care to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. We accept all Medicaid plans in our region, as well as Medicare and many other private and public insurance plans. Covenant Community Care, Inc. is a FTCA (Federal Tort Claim Act) deemed Community Health Center.

In the late 1990s, a doctor approached a pastor in Southwest Detroit, and asked "What do people in your church do for health care?" His response was simple "Some of us have it and some of us don't." From that day on the doctor agreed to treat anyone that the church sent to her. She made a pledge to a community in need, and Covenant was born.
Covenant Community Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), but what does that mean? As an FQHC, we are funded under section 330 of the Public Health Service Act by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), a division of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (DHS).
Julia Guevara did not feel safe outside in her neighborhood, had shut herself in for two years, and was slowly drifting into depression. Things began to change when she was invited to join Covenant Community Care's MI Care Team, a new program created to provide patients with extra support in overcoming barriers to a healthier life.
Covenant Community Care offers affordable, quality primary health care for the whole family. Most patients without health insurance pay between $20 and $50 per visit, depending on family size and income. We never want price to be a barrier to receiving necessary medical attention.

Despite me asking how much it would cost and them assuring me it would only be 20 dollars, nothing more, they both billed me twice and I got a letter from another company charging me hundreds of dollars. When I called them, they had me call another number then said they'd call me back, then they just wouldn't. Today, I'm looking at a 800+ dollar bill for bloodwork but it's worded in the most convoluted way. If Laura A Pfeifer had been honest and told me that it was going to cost more, I would have simply declined, but I got hit with hidden bills and they refused to communicate.

I liked that all the paperwork for new patients is done via email links. It made the dental appointment process seem less confusing with easy walk in and walk out process. All together my dental work seems to be done with great quality. It does seem as if it's a busy dental office because appointments aren't always easily available.

I love everyone there. The atmosphere is wonderful. I love a place that believes in God. No one has ever been rude or disrespectful to me. They treat you like family as far as I am concerned. I have never waited very long for an appointment. I believe you get what you give. Respect deserves respect.

Where do I start) This facility was great before they moved on Michigan Ave. The service is the worst in Metro Detroit. No matter what day you go for a appointment or walk in. One million kids running around the lobby. Your waiting for hours to see a doctor. Only for them to say you may need a specialist. Every time I do a walk in visit. I'm waiting for hours and hours and hours. If this place doesn't get it together. Very sure they'll be out of business. There trying to service far to many people. Very disappointed, Upset, confused about what's going on..... Seems like you must speak Spanish for

I do not recommend anyone of the African American race to come here. The service at the front desk is terrible. There is no grace period so if you come a minute late you can not be seen. However if you are of the Latino Community you will have GREAT service they cater to their own race here. I am very disappointed in there service here.

Staff here are friendly from the entrance to the outgoing. My kids see Dr. Thebault and for myself I see Dr. Pope they are both excellent in understanding and knowing how to meet your needs. Love how every time we go we see the same nurses it’s feels like your more in touch with them. It’s very easy to get in touch with them as well.
