Services
We're a family ran martial arts school that holds the highest values on education within the martial arts. We specialize in teaching two age appropriate martial arts systems that are exclusive to UMS Training Center. As educators we pride ourselves in our proven methods which advance our students mental and physical development in a manner not seen in any other martial arts school today.
Universal Martial System (UMS); founded in 1981 by Professor Steven N. Levi was created to bring the practitioner a unique martial arts system, considered a "Complete Martial Art". UMS is comprised of basic and advanced self-defense techniques: punches, kicks, elbows & knees strikes along with throws, take-downs, grappling and much more.
Parents, it's time for a night out on the town. Not Kids Night Out but a night out for you! Have your child(ren) attend a UMS Kids Night Out event. Age appropriate, SAFE and unmatched fun. Kids will enjoy four (4) hours of structured activities starting with free play, followed by countless games, martial arts games and more.

Skills such as taking turns, playing make believe, and kicking a ball, are called developmental milestones. Developmental milestones are things most children can do by a certain age. Children reach milestones in how they play, learn, speak, behave, and move (like jumping, running, or balancing). Because of children's growing desire to be independent, this stage is often called the "terrible twos."

I am a student of UMS and Sensei Dan Levi. And as a former instructor I feel the UMS system is a balanced art both with traditional discipline and efficient maneuvers. Sensei Dan is a great teacher/sensei and mentor for all levels of students and he always has the best team to carry you through your martial arts journey.
