My success as a personal trainer has spanned more than 30 years, having trained many people, of many ages, and from various fitness levels. I have also successfully coached youth sports for soccer, basketball, lacrosse, flag football, and was also a high school JV wrestling coach.
I competed as a Division I wrestler while attending Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, then moved on to become an amateur bodybuilder winning the title of Mr. DC NPC.I work out daily, and keep myself motivated by competing in annual sporting competitions. My mother was a fitness lover and wanted to make sure her five sons understood how to use free weights, and also appreciate the beauty of being fit, and thereby, healthy.

Eric called in the spring to see if I wanted to join a Boot Camp class. I was going to say no and find some excuse but something said “Take the chance”
Mind you I’m in my late 50s, overweight and out of shape… I am so grateful that I took that step. Eric pushes you and encourages you… he takes into account each student’s needs and goals. I still have so long to go on my journey but I can’t imagine traveling this road with anyone except Eric! He is truly patient and caring -tailoring the experience to fit your specific needs. Can’t wait till I can join the next session of Boot Camp

I started training with Eric Lindsey (owner of Anuyu Fitness) a few weeks ago after finding him online. I've never hired a trainer before and didn't know what to expect. It's been fantastic so far. Eric really takes the time and effort to get to know you personally, what your habits are, what your lifestyle is, what your goals are, and what your body can handle. He personalizes a workout program just for you, which he modifies constantly to align with how you are doing in the workouts. Anuyu Fitness is a great personal training service for people of all ages and all fitness levels. I've been working with Eric Lindsay, the owner, for over three years now and I'm still amazed by how well he develops training sessions that challenge me and continue to develop my strength and endurance. Eric painstakingly develops tailored workout sessions designed to help me meet my fitness goals, whether improving my 5k time or strengthening my upper body and core to improve my yoga arm balances. I first began training with Eric (the proprietor of Anuyu Fitness) in Spring 2016. At that time my physical state was far less than ideal, but I was ready to make a change for the better. I just had no idea how to transform myself. Eric took the time to understand what I wanted, assessed my fitness level, and designed a total-body training program that was personally customized for me. He promised to commit himself to helping me achieve my fitness goals and that's exactly what he did!

When I came home from college, I started taking classes with Eric at the beginning of summer with my mom using a Mother's Day special. During the hour long sessions, we would do a variety of workouts and stretches that he personalized by testing our strengths. Eric is a fantastic trainer! He starts with stretches and He's always incredibly encouraging! He watches how he can adjust the workouts to accommodate his clients. My mother has arthritis, so it sometimes hurts her hand to do exercises that involved bars or push ups. Eric showed her a variation of the exercise that wouldn't
