We are nestled in the heart of Half Moon Bay, in the beautiful Half Moon Bay Inn. We recently remodeled to bring back the original feel of this historic building to our restaurant, featuring archways, frescoes, original large wood pillars and ceiling beams, country cement countertops, wrought iron chandeliers and authentic accent pieces.

Words cannot describe how amazing the food was. We tried one of everything and nothing disappointed.
The chicken Marsala was the best I ever had. There was a consensus that the star player was the pesto fettuccine. Italian sodas hit the spot. The staff was more than friendly and made us feel comfortable.

The ribs were excellent, I highly recommend. The polenta was also very good. The cocktail and gnocchis were good but I've had better. We also had the mushroom flat bread as an appetizer which was very good. Globally, after a day walking by the sea, it was a very appreciated dinner before heading back to the bay side.

We've been here twice in the last few months. First time was for an engagement celebration. There were six of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. The management accommodated our request to sit outside on the covered patio. The table was perfect. We pre-ordered a couple of appetizers and a bottle of bubbly to start the evening off. We also brought a bottle of chilled white and red, but the wait staff kind of dropped the ball regarding the opening of bottles and didn't bring a vessel to keep the white cold. The complimentary foccacia bread was delicious, I could have just ate that. The entrees were good we had the baked penne Ala vodka and the carbonara. The penne was a large portion, and couldn't finish it. Good flavor but I think next time I would try something new. But the desserts were delicious- it was our anniversary so they brought us a scoop of ice cream with this fruit puree and fresh whipped cream- again delicious. Local Italian spot in downtown half moon bay. The atmosphere is inviting. The staff is very polite and on top of everything. The house made bread as a starter is absolutely fantastic. I got the carbonara and my wife got the penne alla vodka. Both of us were very pleased with our meals. The wine list is extensive and I had a cab from Napa valley. We will certainly come back here.

This place was my absolute favorite place to dine in Half Moon Bay but no longer.
Reservation could only be made with a credit card. It's not a problem for me that there would be a charge of 25 dollars for no show. However, the restaurant did not live up to the old hype.
We had to wait, standing a super long time to be sitting at a table. The server did not show up for at least 15min. It felt weird being stranded at the table. We were here for the pizza but found out the pizza menu was removed due to Covid!

The food, desserts, service, prices, ambiance was exceptional. We ordered appetizers (flatbread and brick oven shrimp) and they were both so tasty. Then we all ordered different food from the menu, the prawns and linguini was the best, sister said the risotto was the best she has ever tasted, chicken marsala was very tender. We tried all 4 desserts and my favorite was the key lime pie, best I have ever had.

Solid 5 star rating for this beautiful restaurant! We asked to be seated outside and our table was ready in 15 minutes. We ordered from the Sunday Brunch menu which we got the Pasta Carbonara, Sesaer Salad, scones, and a Cheese Burger. Everything was rightly portion and tasty!!!
BTW, this is also our first positive dining experience in downtown Half Moon Bay.

We had ricotta pesto flatbread, minestrone soup, beet salad, focaccia and chicken and wild mushroom pasta. Every dish was terrific, thanks to the fresh local ingredients. The cocktails were super tasting and had fun names. It was cozy sitting in the courtyard next to the fireplace. Service was superb. We highly recommend this restaurant for a very fine night of food and drink.

INCREDIBLE 5* RESTRAUNT. this food is crazy good. people say you need to combine the right flavors to create perfect food and this is literally it. please do yourself a favor and come here. the setting is also extremely calming and sweet. the waiters were so kind and friendly, and also gave my dog a water bowl without me asking on a hot day. I ordered the lavender lemonade which is crazy good(sparkling) and flatbread.

This is one of a very cozy eateries in Half Moon Bay. Come early and enjoy the patio dining in the back of the restaurant. Food is great and staff are very accommodating as well. I would definitely come back again. Don’t forget to try the grilled octopus in the appetizer menu. It’s one of the very best that I have ever tried. If you love pizza, you are in the right place. All pizzas can be ordered as thin or thick crust. I normally don’t really care for thick crust but highly recommended here.
