From Calabria to Campania, Rome to Naples, and Potenza to Cosenza, the many culinary flavors of Southern Italy's regions find their way to VIA UNO's cucina daily. We are proud to share with you recipes from our families, friends and chefs, both traditional and contemporary. Our menu features farm-to-table foods that are hand selected daily from farms along the coast and in the San Francisco Bay Area.
This style of purchasing is the true Italian trattoria way: using local, regionally grown and artisan produced fare, and preparing these ingredients in the Italian Slow Food Movement style. To Italians, a meal is more than just food - it's an experience, it's a memory, and it's an event to be shared with family and friends.

I was happy with the service and the flavor of the food but both my napkin and underneath my pizza had a long black hair in it. They simply took the hair away and did not acknowledge how disgusting that is. Also, don't get the water it tastes weird. Normally I don't like to do bad reviews but this was simply unacceptable.

Sea bass was the best I've had... Tbh I didn't have super high expectations for this place because of its roadside location. Felt like kind of a tourist trap "where else are you gonna go" sort of vibe from the parking lot.... Once inside we were greeted by the super friendly staff. The menu had WAY more depth than I was expecting (kids had wood fired pizza) the full bar was had an excellent scotch collection, the wine list left nothing to be desired and the pasta and seafood were excellent.
Wife and I, plus two kids... Drinks, appetizers, 4 entrees, and deserts and the bill was less than 350.

Finally the true taste of Italy in Us (I'm from Italy, for the record). Italian restaurant with Italian people and most important true Italian food. If you want to have a true bite of Italy, this one is the place you want to go. Reservation is recommended, the restaurant was very crowded on my visit. The food looked and smelled delicious. I had only 3 pizzas to take away and they were good, small, very small but good. Be ready to pay an expensive check for what you are going to order but that's the price if you want to eat true Italian food.
The pizzas I got were good but too small to feel satisfied
