Xceptional DJ's + Photo Booths was launched by Forrest Crump (DJ Forrest) in 1999 as a one man operation performing small house and teen parties. DJ Gary Smith did an amazing job at our wedding this past Saturday. We had a lot of different cultures represented at our wedding, and Gary nailed all the songs! He researched our music extensively, read the crowd, and seamlessly transitioned from genre to genre. He was truly amazing, and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Forrest is extremely talented. I am in so much awe of all that you have accomplished. He is always professional, and is extremely good at he does. His love for the agent that he has definitely shines through in any and all that he does. I have known him for several years now, and I can say without a doubt he is by far my favorite DJ. DJ Forrest is the truly best in Houston!! He is so incredibly professional and talented. The music and dancing for my 40th birthday party were of utmost importance to me, and Forrest was nothing short of amazing. From the songs, to the energy, to reading the crowd- all exceeded expectations. He also provided lighting and a photo booth, which were also top-notch. We will be using him again. 5 stars and highly recommended.

DJ Forrest has become our "resident" DJ at our school's PTO events it seems. He plays age appropriate music and helps kids and grown ups alike have fun. The Photo Booth is always a big hit as well. DJ Forrest brings in great equipment, is friendly, dependable, and respectful. Highly recommend his services.

DJ at our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made. He had an excellent intuition for how to manage the crowd and also served as an MC for transitioning between the wedding party entrance, toasts, cake cutting, grand exit, etc. Our guests loved him - we had multiple people come up to us afterward saying how much they enjoyed the music and the dancing. We plan to recommend him to all of our friends who are getting married next year!

We used their Dj services for our daughter's quinceañera party; we were quite disappointed with the outcome, as expensive as it was the job should have been flawless! The songs were abruptly chopped, the transitions from one song to another were bad and it seemed like the Dj had no idea of the music he was playing. Not worth the money at all!! Big regret!

DJ Forrest was absolutely fantastic!!! He was extremely professional, flexible with the scheduling the day of the event, and kept the party going with enthusiasm. Forrest and the rest of the team are amazing!! We paid Forrest in full for a wedding 2 1/2 years ago, and he gave my mom his word that if we ever needed him, he would be there and honor our contract. I am so glad he was able to DJ my wedding on July 26th to the man of my dreams! It meant so much to my family that he upheld his word. You're a classy man, Forrest. Forrest at Xceptional DJs was a pleasure to work with. I was slightly nervous since I had found him by purchasing a Yelp deal, but he promptly answered all emails within the same day. During the week leading up to the wedding, Forrest called me twice to confirm ceremony and receptions specifics, asking questions that I myself had not thought of. He stayed true to my requested playlist (and do-not-playlist) and did an excellent job of keeping the dance floor moving. Forrest was our wedding DJ, and he did a great job. Everything went smoothly, and our requests were granted. And he even took his own photos of our ceremony and reception, so we got extra wedding photos! Also, the services are actually affordable, which is hard to find for wedding vendors...but the service is still quality.
