I had a terrible experience with Dion at the Scottsdale location. I went to the Scottsdale location for a consult with Dion in 2018. During my consult, he sneezed IN my hair... right on top of my head. I get that if one has to sneeze, they have to sneeze, but it is unacceptable to sneeze on a client's head. I was astounded and mortified. He apologized and laughed. I was not amused. I cancelled the follow-up appointment that I was originally going to have with him for extensions and a cut. I visited the Scottsdale salon for the first time on March 18th, 2021. I was greeted by a delightful front desk receptionist and introduced to my stylist and colorist. Camilla, the colorist, addressed my concerns and clearly explained what she thought would work best with my skin coloring as well. Gwenn, the stylist, did the same. She was happy to look at some photos I'd brought along and again, we discussed lifestyle and my expectations for a good and long lasting cut and style. I will definitely be making Rolfs in Scottsdale my go to salon and highly recommend these 2 delightful and professional

This place in unbelievable!! Everyone is so kind and friendly !! For the first time in 18 years I have found a color specialist that is so educated within her profession. Maddie!!! She has given me exactly what I have been looking for !!! I’m beyond thrilled with her knowledge, kindness and attitude on life! Then..... there is Dion, another one in a million!!! I've been going to Rolfs for "YEARS " and every time I am so thankful! My hair colorist Joslyn keeps me my natural red which is hard.... But she is truly the best there is! And Lucia is the best in getting that cut/style you want to perfection! These woman are both masters at their craft and have the awards to show for it! AND both the nicest people around. I had lighter highlights added to my dark hair. I was a little nervous but Maddie and Michelle helped me get through it. Wow!! It came out better than I expected and I couldn’t stop saying WOW! Rolfs is wonderful! From the moment you enter the beautifully designed salon, you are treated warmly and professionally. I always feel welcomed and the front desk staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Since coming to Rolfs, I've had some scheduling issues on my end and they have always been able to accommodate my changes and needs. Because of my schedule, I have had experiences with several stylists and can say with absolute joy that I have had nothing but great experiences with each. All of the colorists/stylists are well educated and talented with hair.

Everyone on staff is ultra talented and attentive, and it's always a great experience in salon. Jocelyn does my color, and Dion my haircuts. I went in for a touch up and a few highlights. My roots are dark. The stylist was knowledgeable and very nice.
I told her that I had dinner plans with some friends right after my apt. When I was processing, I noticed that I had some dark color on the front of my light blouse. I know, I know. I shouldn't have worn a light colored blouse! I had that same thought before leaving my house. But it went so perfectly with my outfit and I figured they'd have enough measures to protect my blouse. Like I said, I was wrong lol
Anyway, I asked for a tide pen or something to help get it out. The stylist

First time trying this location. I live almost an hour away and I will never step foot at any other location. This salon is stunning and peaceful. The staff is impeccably professional and kind. From the manager to my stylist to my colorist and reception. They did a beautiful job on my cut, color, hair mask, and blow out. The stylist also consulted me on hair products and tips for my natural waves. I purchased the products and hands down the best I've used after trial and error of numerous products that failed me. I came to the salon for the first time and I was so blown away by the customer service the atmosphere it was such a wonderful experience!! I can't wait to go back for more services. I'd like to thank Angela for cutting and styling my hair she did a miracle on me I couldn't believe the transition. 5 years in and I still love my Rolf's hairdressing experiences. They pamper me front the front door on...making every haircut a mini-spa rejuvenating moment. Ahhhhh. I'm so sad to write this because I love my colorist and stylist with Rolfs and have been going to the salon for over 15 years but they keep moving their best stylists to the slower salons and that means if you have one you like you may have to chase them all over the valley! For the customers that have supported the salon as long as I have, it's enough to make you want to find a new one. Great stylists, bad management!

Didn't get anything close to what I wanted. Showed pictures of the color and nope she failed me. I called and made my appointment and asked for the highest blonde color master to do my hair.. walked out with crappy highlights that have a few hot spots... paid to have my hair styled and just got a basic blow dry... I wouldn't go there if you want excellence ..

She is an remarkable colorist who pays attention to detail and has a vast knowledge on color. I showed her a few inspo pics and within a couple of hours I had the EXACT color I wanted. She even had to get pulled away by another stylist at one point to get to another client because she was making sure everything looked perfect while I sat to process.

If you are looking for a luxury experience, you found the perfect place. If you are looking for a decent to good haircut, you found your place. But if you are looking for a good to perfect hair color (given the almost $500 price tag!!!), then this is definitely not your spot. I showed up with a bunch of photos of colors I wanted and explained to te stylist my vision and when I walked out, I was everything but that vision! And to add more to it, I sent an email explaining my dissatisfaction and asking the salon to possibly fix it, ASAP (you should see my hair!!!), even by paying for them to fix

Im sorry, i dont usually give out Bad reviews, But for an upscale salon like this is pretty sad that u have to walk away with expensive products in your hands because they are out of shopping bags? This is the second time this has happened,I think it's about time they have some back up bags? Oh, and on another note , maybe have front desk people that know how to use the computers.
My last review was 10 months ago, so here I am again getting products and still no bags! Really?! How embarrassing.... maybe next time I should bring some bags for them huh?!
