I received my training through ASHI home inspection school; graduating top of the class. I am certified by the State of WA and follow the WA state, ASHI, and InterNACHI standards of practice and codes of ethics. Prior to becoming a licensed home inspector, I worked 20 years in residential construction.

Lars is friendly and professional. He arrived on time and began the inspection immediately. He was very thorough during the inspection and made sure that all my questions were answered and all my concerns were addressed. After the inspection, Lars produced the inspection report promptly on the same day. To top it off, he also gifted us a bottle of wine as a house warming gift. I absolutely enjoyed working with Lars and will book him again in the future!

Lars is great! He comes recommended by my real estate agent when I'm about to purchase a new house. Lars is thorough and able to walk us through the issue once the inspection completed. He has a pleasant demeanor, able to adjust and focus on your needs/main concerns. I like how he separates the report into two: summary and detailed reports. The report is also accessible online, making it easier to find them anytime via a link. I highly recommend Lars :)

Lars did a thorough inspection on our home for the upcoming warranty check. It was a last minute request but he was super responsive. Lars performed pre-inspections on multiple properties I considered putting an offer on. Due to the fast-paced nature of Seattle's real estate market, I had to often reach out to him the day before I needed an inspection done, and he always came through. He does thorough work with great pictures and explanations.
I am a first time homebuyer with no real estate experience, and he gave me confidence in understanding what kind of expenses and risks I might run into with

2 stars just because Lars is a very nice person.
Unfortunately, the quality of the inspection is very poor. After the inspection, he did not notice serious visual problems for my newly constructed townhouse.
He could not notice that the exhaust fan in my bathroom was not connected to the ventilation. And the other 3 fans has no suction at all. Cracks in multiple tile areas was missed as well. Squeaky stairs and bathroom(for extra service what was paid) and if this obvious was missed than probably much more when it come to details.
I also pid him extra so he can spend more on this inspection

My husband and I were referred to Lars by our real estate agent when looking for a home inspection on a property we're in the process of purchasing. Lars was quick and efficient in setting up the appointment, and was there before any of us on the inspection day. He was incredibly thorough and very patient in answering all of our questions. Lars inspected a home I ended up buying. He was extremely thorough, was willing to answer my many questions, and was honest about any issues he saw. He provided me with a detailed report the next morning after a late afternoon inspection and was available for follow-up questions. He even sent me an email a few days later asking if I had any more questions. I was impressed with his professionalism and thoroughness. I also enjoyed his great sense of humor because let's be honest, inspections aren't that fun.

We've had Lars assist with two home inspections - both very thorough with detailed reports and photos of the issues we needed to know about as a prospective buyer. At the first inspection, Lars' report helped us walk away from a home with costly repairs, and at the second, it helped us confirm we could buy it with confidence! Lars is always very prompt, communicative, and thorough. I think it's a good sign when my agent is acting impatient because Lars is 'taking too long' - that thoroughness is exactly what we need!
