Alameda Animal Hospital, Inc. has provided comprehensive veterinary care to companion animals in the Norman/Moore/Noble area for over 25 years. Alameda Animal Hospital was originally established in 1985 by Dr. Gary Eskew in the Alameda Square Shopping Center at the corner of 12th Ave NE and Alameda, hence its' name.
Pets are now enjoying much longer and trouble-free lives with preventative healthcare and educated "parents". We strive to provide you with the necessary information and recommendations that you will require in order to make the best possible healthcare decisions for your pet. We also want you to be confident knowing that we are a team of skilled, experienced, and compassionate providers.
We are pleased to announce you can now place your online orders directly through our clinic! Your order will either be mailed to you or personally delivered. All online payments will continue to be processed through the clinic. You will be contacted by phone for payment and to approve/confirm your order.

All of the staff is always super caring and compassionate. I’ve been using Dr. Eskew for decades, and his clinic continues to be the best in regards to be sensitive to my pets’ needs and mine. When I prefer to use alternative treatments there’s no judgment. Great communication as always!

What can I say about Alameda that established customers don't already know they are wonderful and they are great. I have taken my dog there and I love the service that I receive I love the way the veterinarian always keeps me informed about my options and several things that I can do. I cannot tell you how much it was a comfort to have such a caring staff and I really loved it they gave me such a sense of security and I knew that they were watching over my dog.

Little bit of a wait outside in the cold. But.. when the doc called he spent plenty of time explaining things and making sure we understood everything. Like risks associated with the shot he recommended. We did what he recommended and the cat is doing really well. I didn't see the inside is only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

We have been taking all of our dogs to Alameda Animal Hospital for a few years now and always have great experiences. Last Friday we had to put down our senior fur baby and they were fantastic as always. They… were all so compassionate to us as well as to her. They even brought her goodies to eat before. If you want to take your pets to people who really care, you won’t find a better place than here!

Worst experience! My appointment was at 10:40 and we were not taken back to a room until 11:30. Once in the room we waited some more! Tech came in asked a few questions and then took my puppy to the back. (I brought her in for a cough) when the doctor came back in with her she had a yellow substance on her mouth. I was told that they gave her a… Dewormer which I did not ask for. When I went to check out the total was outrageous, I asked why and I was informed that they gave her a bunch of shots (which I did not ask for). No one discussed with me any type of shot or dewormer before giving

We have used Alameda Animal Hospital for over 25 years! We would NEVER consider using anyone else. Dr. Eskew and his entire staff have nothing but compassion for our pets as well as us. They have laughed with us when the new little pets were just learning, and they have wiped tears when it was time to say our goodbyes to those same pets. It’s like going to see Friends who care for your pets as we do when we go to Alameda Animal Hospital.
