Lois Harrison broke ground in 1951 with the Harrison Hall Hotel - her sons John & Hale Harrison founded the Harrison Group in 1970. So, I try to see the good in very situation but it's very hard when you spend money, drive 3 plus hours to a location for it to be nothing like expected. Me and my fiancé wanted a nice bae-cation in ocean city for a few days. We arrive to a horrible parking situation. There's 3 parking lots that are a bit of a walk to the hotel. We stayed on the first floor checked in Monday and walked to our room 102 which is down a twisty hallway as well as very narrow we were greeted to find a maid cart in the hallway which is not a problem we just couldn't get by so we say "miss" multiple

We stayed here for one night and will never come back here again. Upon arrival, a staff member asked us, "Do you want to look at the room before you check-in?" This was our warning sign, but we didn't listen. We were in a pinch and needed a place for the night. Never again.

VERY OUTDATED, DIRTY, FOUL ODOR, UNPLEASANT STAFF, ROACHES!
My family and I booked a week at this hotel. Our purpose of the stay was for a national dance competition that our daughter was competing in that week. We had at least a dozen or more families staying at the same resort. We went with an efficiency room that had a stove, microwave and fridge.

Incredibly outdated, worn/old, and in desperate need of an update. The room felt "eh" and not clean. Upon walking into the room, I saw other people's hair (definitely wasn't mine) on surfaces that are so commonly used in hotel rooms that I was surprised they were even there. There was always a weird smell in the hallways - smoke? Stale food? I don't know... The indoor and outdoor pools were okay. The parking lot was very tight so just be careful when parking.

1) The hotel needs a complete renovation. When I arrived in my room, the light over the kitchen area did not work. It took maintenance over 2 hours to find the right circuit breaker to turn off in order to replace the light switch. I also realized that the phone in the room was not operational either.

We checked this Hotel out online and the pictures looked great, but when we got checked in we were so disappointed we really wanted to stay somewhere else but we were only staying for 2 nights so we toughed it out. We had to wait until 3 (normal) to get checked in because the room was not ready but when we got in the room it still was not ready. The floor was not vacuumed and the floor in the bathroom was not cleaned at all. The smell in the room was not nice and the only chair we had had stains all over it and we did not go close to that. We got some air fresheners because of the musty smell

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL ....I recently made the mistake by booking this hotel, First of all when you first walk in it smells like a funeral home ....the staff is friendly but the hotel is TRASH it's dirty the elevator floor was wet and had writing all over the wall the sheets were stained everything was old and filthy the balcony was so close to the other rooms you can literally jump over. This should be called a MOTEL!!!!!!

Positives: The front desk staff were wonderful. Dorothy could not have been any friendlier as well as every hotel employee that we had an encounter with.

It's a Four Star three star hotel. You get what you pay for. It definitely could use some remodeling. It's right off the boardwalk but you have to walk 2 miles to get to the action.
Pros- Nice Staff, Indoor Pool, Hottub, Partial Ocean Views, Good Parking, Good WIFI
Cons- Room service isn't great, TV's lack HDMI Ports, Only 1 Elevator, No ceiling lights
