INSAND is a 60 minute HITT workout that combines functional fitness training with sport based movements, created and developed by Reid Priddy, 4 time Olympian and gold medalist. What you can expect in every 60-minute class is to gain around 5,000 steps, burn tons of calories, get 150+ reps of either volleyball movement or functional movement, and enough high fives and encouragement to last you the rest of the week.

The INSAND experience mirrors the environment familiar to pro athletes who have an integrated team of experts whose sole focus is to help them reach their personal best. INSAND makes this experience, and this type of team support, available and accessible to you. Want to include beach volleyball training in your weekly schedule, but don't have time to coordinate players and set up equipment?

Hey, I'm Reid Priddy, 4x Olympian, Gold & Bronze Medalist in Indoor Volleyball. I played on Team USA for 16 years on a hard court, which was a lot of wear and tear on my body. My joints were killing me, and I was on 1800mg of Ibuprofen a day for the last few years of my indoor playing career. I retired from indoor in 2016 and hit the beach volleyball tour.
This 60 minute INSAND training is all about getting people moving together through sand fitness and high intensity interval volleyball training in a motivating team environment. What you can expect in every 60 minute class is to gain over 5,000 steps, burn 2x the calories, get over 100 reps of volleyball drills and functional movement and enough encouragement to last you the rest of the week!
You have two options for parking: you can either pay a daily rate of $15 or you can park where Hamilton connects with Newland street, and then walk down Newland street. Please come to class prepared with water, appropriate clothing for the weather, and sunscreen if you are sensitive to the sun.

Each 60 minute INSAND class is all about getting people moving together through sand fitness and high intensity interval volleyball training in a motivating team environment. What you can expect in every 60 minute class is to gain around 6,500 steps, burn at least 600 calories, get 100+ reps of volleyball drills and functional movement, and enough encouragement to last you the rest of the week.

INSAND is a life changing! There are so many reasons why my family and I love working out with this team… First of all the coaches are awesome and very motivating! Second, we work as a team and everybody is very friendly. And finally, the best part of all is the amount of calories that we spend working out in the sand, with an amazing ocean view! Thanks INSAND! You are the best!

I have finally found a "gym" membership I don't mind paying for. The workouts at INSAND are so well designed. It's not just a bunch of movement thrown together... Coach Herb or Coach Fern could tell you the reason why they chose each and every exercise. The workouts are great but what really shines is the community they have built. We're all teammates out there on the sand rooting for each other to keep going towards a healthier and happier life. Can't say enough good things... you've gotta try it out.

You will definitely break a sweat and burn some calories for each workout. Great way to learn how efficiently and effortlessly move in sand with some volleyball in mind, in addition to the learning/fine-tuning your volleyball skills. It’s not everyday that you get tips from Olympic gold medalists this cheaply haha.

This is the BEST workout! And if you’re getting older like me, you’ll appreciate training on the greatest surface around that isn’t hard on your joints. I love the functional fitness classes, which are great for everyone regardless of fitness level or athletic ability. The coaches are always so positive, helpful, and caring. And who doesn’t love learning volleyball from one of the best players in the world?!? I love the friendships and camaraderie that have developed in these workout classes as well. We are all their to help each other get better every day, and to get our bodies and minds

INSAND is a perfect fit for me who loves volleyball and the beach. However, it’s a great workout whether you care about volleyball or not. In addition, it’s not just a work out, it’s a full on supportive community. All of the coaches know your name and truly care. Lastly, I do yoga and lift weights with them as well. It’s all encompassing. INSAND RULES!

I can’t imagine a better place to workout. Their programs are not just thrown together. Each workout builds on the previous. I can push myself on the days that I know I should push myself and slow down if I need to. The trainers are simply amazing. Herb, Fern, Meghan, Rose, Sean are just the best at motivating and making sure that you’re getting what you need in any area of the workout. Oh that’s right I almost forgot that you have an Olympic gold medalist who is training you in volleyball. His insights into the game and life lessons he’s picked up from competing are invaluable. Can’t

This is one of the best outdoor group fitness I’ve joined. It’s basically cross fit that incorporates beach volleyball and a little bit of yoga. It’s a good workout that improved my stamina and endurance which as a result improved my beach volleyball game. Give it a try, their first class is free. You won’t be disappointed.

This workout has changed my life, post surgery! I can train like I’m still in high school, or I can modify any of the exercises because I’m actually 50 years strong! The biggest factor that keeps me coming back each week is that I also have found an incredible and loving community…like a family.

Before starting with INSAND almost two years ago, I was hard pressed to get to the gym for even the mildest of workouts. I knew fitness was essential for a healthy life but a traditional gym workout rarely offered enough incentive for me to make it a habit. Now my fitness regime is exclusive to INSAND and I’m disappointed if I can’t workout. They offer a wide range of classes that are rigorous but so fun. The INSAND team and participants are an amazing group of people, welcoming, encouraging and supportive. Now fitness is a integral part of my weekly routine. I feel good, move well and look
