Max Fitness is a women only fitness studio located in Huntington Beach. We are open 7 days a week, with session times that can accommodate any schedule. We are committed to a personalized approach to fitness, through a variety of small group classes, private training, and nutritional programs, catered to women of all ages.
We are looking for Bootcamp, Barre, Yoga, Spin, HIIT, and TRX instructors to join our team!. To apply for this position please email info@maxfitnesshb.com. In your email please include your resume, availability, and class formats you are trained to teach. Angela Kraber is Co-Owner and General Manager of Max Fitness.
We offer a wide variety of virtual and in-person fitness classes starting as early as 5:00AM and as late as 6:00PM. Get in, burn calories, get out! A fast-paced circuit workout designed to give you the maximum calorie burn in a short amount of time. This class runs on YOUR time, so come at the time that works for you, and stay for 30 minutes up to am entire hour.

Max Fitness is an amazing and supportive gym and like no other in Huntington Beach. It truly is a special place: from the owners to the instructors, to the other women gym members, to the classes, to personal training, to the various challenges they provide, you won't be sorry you joined. This is my second home. You can not beat the community at Max Fitness! The other women, the instructions, I have never felt so comfortable and welcome at any other gym. This is also the first place I have stuck with it for over a year now. I am grateful for this gym and their staff, you can't get another experience anywhere else!

Max Fitness truly changed my life in July of 2018 - I walked in with hesitation and have never looked back. Very quickly I was introduced to an amazing group of women that have been consistent faces throughout the past three years. The instructors are inspiring, engaging, motivating and most importantly get you to a place where you are achieving the results you strived/strive to achieve. I now don't feel like I "have" to work out - I "love" to work out - it's a lifestyle - Max Fitness is the reason I now have that feeling - I wouldn't want to sweat anywhere

I joined this gym 6 months ago and am so happy I did! I go 5 days a week and am now the strongest I have ever been. My 55 year old self loves it! The trainers are amazing and really motivate you to push yourself. The "tribe" that is max fitness is a hidden gem, literally hidden behind Zubi's! Lol! I'm so very happy to have found this gym and these people!! Love it!

Max Fitness is the place to be! The coaches are incredibly encouraging and help you kick butt during your class. Before Max Fitness I was never a fan of spin or yoga but this place has changed my mind! All of the patrons are super awesome and are fun to be around. I've been going for 9 months and love it!

This is such a warm and welcoming place. I have never enjoyed working out but I look forward to coming here and seeing all the other women. I have never been made to feel bad if there is any exercise I can't do. The trainers will modify any any exercise as needed. The trainers are great! They clearly want to be there and enjoy what they are doing, which makes it all the more enjoyable to be there. There is a wide range of classes to choose from. You will never get bored!

I have been a member of Max Fitness twice. I quite 2 years ago to look for something less expensive, but the truth is, you get what you pay for. Angela and McKayla, the owners, have done a great job of sprucing up the studio and asking the members what they want for classes, so there really is something for all levels of fitness. You can go as hard or easy as you feel comfortable with, and there are a great variety of classes. I can't say enough great things about Max Fitness as it is a gym that isn't a gym - it's a community due to the leadership and environment that the instructors display and have created. Every member supports every other member and it is a place where you will definitely get results - I did and I've consistently been going there for 3 years. What I also love is that they have taught me "how" to work out where I can do it on my own even when I am on the road - I now look forward to working out vs. feeling like I have to - the BEST!

I love Max Fitness! The gym is so welcoming and clean and perfect! It is a fun place to work out at. I searched and searched for a long time for a gym that I felt would be a perfect fit for me, when I walked into max I knew that this was the right Gym for me!! The instructors are really amazing, they work hard to make sure that you get a good work out without getting hurt, and they help you with adjustments if you need them! Max Fitness is the best workout studio around. I have been to many different studio’s and nothing compares to Max Fitness. From day one, the members were very welcoming and made me feel like part of their family. The class are great, good for any age or level. The owners are fantastic and really care about their members. Max Fitness in Huntington Beach, is just the best! If you are looking for a female only gym, with awesome coaches and an amazing group of women, this is your place! I spent 2 years trying to find a gym in Huntington Beach that catered to women and offered great classes. This gym is that and so much more! In addition to a variety of classes, they also focus on nutrition, meal planning, semi and private coaching! And the women in this tribe are so supportive, lots of energy and we have a blast while working out together!!! Try it, you will love it!

I have tried other gyms before, but wasn't very impressed or very motivated to go....until I found Max Fitness!! My girls at Max Fitness are like family now...they motivate me, keep me accountable, and make working out FUN!! I had never dieted, meal prepped, or taken most of the classes...but they guided me through every step of the way. If you are scared about making the first step towards fitness, they got you...I was super scared to join the 6 week challenge, but decided to conquer my fears and feel so much better, body & soul, it's incredible. I came to Max Fitness on a whim, to try and kickstart my journey to health with the 6 Week Challenge. Angela was my coach and she was stellar support from the get go. They offer a great variety of classes to choose from, I was pleased to try so many new things! TRX was by far my favorite class. Angela really knows her stuff and always helped me by making specific modifications to make the workout appropriate for my diastasis recti. I always felt motivated and never felt judged (even at my very first Spin class!). And there is something great about seeing the same friendly faces in all the classes

I love Max Fitness in Huntington Beach! The workouts are great and they offer a variety of different classes. I do the boot camp style workouts and the spin classes and leave feeling great. They also offer yoga, TRX, pilates and other classes.
I also love the trainers!!! They make you feel welcome and encourage you to push yourself or allow you to just go at your speed. They will work with you on any modifications needed. So don't be afraid to show up and put in some work. You'll love yourself for it!

Max Fitness has changed my life! I started a year ago with personal training because I was so ashamed of my body and embarrassed to take a group class. However, after completing a few of their challenges I gained the confidence to take the group classes! The variety of the classes (Spin, PiYo and TRX are my faves) along with the time frame of when classes makes it so I have NO excuse to exercise! BUT, the BEST part of Max are the knowledgeable, and friendly instructors who make you feel welcome, make you laugh A LOT, all while kicking your booty through sweat drenching workouts! For my 40th birthday a good friend signed me up for a Max Fitness 28 day Challenge. I had never worked out seriously before. I figured that it was better than a midlife crisis so I did exactly what they told me for the next four weeks. Menus, recipes, workouts.... I lost 12.9 pounds, gained muscle and some great habits. I am now at Max almost every day and I am able to take a completely different type of class every day - Barre, Spin, TRX, Yoga, Pump, Boot Camp & more. I love it. I recently started at Max Fitness and am having a great experience. I have tried several different classes and found all of them to be challenging, but the instructors are motivating and kept me going. I especially like the convenience of the afternoon "happy hour" classes. I can show up when it works in my schedule and stay long enough to get a good workout after work, but still not be late to relieve the babysitter. Everyone has been very nice and there is a welcoming, positive energy in the classes. I'm not terribly fit (yet), but I haven't felt out of place in any of the
