I came to respect and be drawn to the complexity of human experience and the origins of emotional and psychological difficulty as an undergraduate student at Seattle University while studying psychology. Following my undergraduate education I pursued graduate training as a Clinical Social Worker and received a Master's in Social Work Degree and pursued a career in mental health.
I continue to learn about how both experience and biology create who we are and how counseling and psychotherapy can potentially lead to profound personal change. My employment history includes working in community mental health settings, working with college students at the University of Washington, and counseling adolescents and families in public schools and correction settings.

Services
With changes in post degree mental health and social work environments, and the need for rapid adaption of new competencies and relevant skill development I have added professional coaching to my practice. My approaches effectively help produce new and positive professional trajectories, career progressions, identities, and roles.
Drawing on many years of experience and technical training and development, I start with a thorough and evidence based assessment, identify needs, moving to a clear and concise plan for care, then provide effective and efficient care. I seek an understanding of your reason for seeking care and hoped for outcomes, how your difficulty has developed over time, your current status and relevant history.

I had Sue as a therapist during high school. She was not very helpful. I did not have a good therapy experience with her. In fact, she made me feel judged and uncomfortable. Luckily, I changed therapist after months with Sue. I'm doing so well now and in school. Sue did not believe in me and I'm sure if she saw how I am today she would be shocked. do not recommend her
