La Vue At Emerald Pointe

This neighborhood is the epitome of the classic South Florida free for all. There's absolutely no rules or regulations followed by the managers who assigned them. Everyone is basically in A free for all on their own and there's zero things management does to acknowledge all the faults. Starting with, sauna being broken for the last two years with Trojan condoms inside the sauna......fixing the roof with a roofing company who's taken over 6 months of non stop constant drilling and buzz sawing from 7am to 6pm. I lived there from 2018-2021 and moved due to a new job as well as increased rent. I ensured that I left my apartment in perfect condition so as to get my entire security deposit back--I even took a video of my apartment moments before I turned my keys in to ensure that if they had any questions or tried to tell me there was damage, I would have the proof to show them otherwise. A few weeks after my move-out, I received a letter stating that they were taking over $100 from my security deposit to replace my bedroom carpet. I re-watched my video and there was nothing wrong with my carpet at all.

When I first moved into La Vue the staff was wonderful! They were very kind and helpful, definitely made me feel at home and a good sense of community. After they changed staff; some horrible ladies took over. One of them, Agnus is the the absolute worst! Always in a horrible mood and gives rude remarks every I called to voice a concern or ask a question. They keep the deposit money from the tenants when they move out. I also hears Angus speaking ill about another tenant and laughing mocking a lady who needed maintenance and called the office.

DO NOT move here under any circumstance. The apartments are outdated and overpriced. The amenities are dirty and not taken care of. The office staff is rude and miserable.
Don't trust the pictures they are old and photoshopped. Also, their 3.5 star rating would likely be a 2 but they are paying for 5 star google reviews from a 3rd party.

I gave 1star because TAMMY who is allegedly the only manager at LaVue was extremely unprofessional! She was dismissive, nonchalant, loud and sarcastic. I asked for an explanation on what's taking so long for LaVue to refund a check to me. TAMMY told me to read the fine print, it takes up to 30days for Lavue to refund your money if you're denied. She was Nasty about it. Apartments are small but cute. All the other staff was actually helpful. Not Tammy. Tammy gets a "F" for terrible customer service.

Terrible community, Everyone is very rude, instead of speaking to you like a person, they want to scream & yell. management could care less about your problems , what they show you in the model unit is not what you get, you get a very old run down apartment, kitchen is falling apart, tiles are cracked, bathrooms are not pleasant. when i first saw my unit that i would be moving into, i complained to them about this issue , that i wanted to back out & they refused to allow me, they make you sign a contract before you even look at your unit for that purpose !!! do NOT live here, money spent is not

I have lived here for a year and it has been the worst experience of my life. The water heater from the lady upstairs broke and my entire apartment got flooded with water. I live on the second floor. They knew the 3rd floor had that issue and they knew that the first floor was experiencing water coming from their roof but they did not even have the decency to call me and let me know. I got home at 11:30 am and my apartment was flooded. After that I started experiencing mold EVERYWHERE! I let them try to fix the situation and all they did was paint over it. The community is nice, however please be aware of management. The units are not luxury at all. The units have old kitchen cabinets, no microwave, old bath tubs and my oven was even so dirty. On top of that, they expect for you to leave the carpets brand new or they will charge you over $400 to replace them. No matter how good credit you have, they will still require a deposit, because they will always charge you a fee. I am the 3rd person who lived there with the same issue. They will show you this beautiful model, but when you get to see your unit, OMG! horrible, nothing to do with the model.

Mrs. Tammy, I want to thank you, and the entire management team for always providing professional, and efficient work at Lavue. As you know, my water heater burst late last night, and maintenance was knocking at my door early the next morning to fix the problem. It doesn't get better than this.
A new water heater has been replaced and things are back to normal in our household.
We never take good deeds lightly, especially in times such as this. Continue to lead by example. Tammy you and your staff are a blessing to our community.

La Vue has been such a pleasure. Gated community, with a lot of amenities. I enjoy spending my afternoons at the dog park with my pooch while overlooking the lake! 10/10

As of today, my girlfriend and I have been living here for a year. The staff has always been helpful, courteous, and professional. They have an app you can use to put in maintenance requests, which we have used and had our issues addressed timely. They don't have a large gym, but they have a racquetball court, two tennis courts, two pools, a place to wash your car, a barbecue area, and a fenced in area to let your dogs run around. The worst apartment complex I have ever lived in and I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. I lived here for 3 years and every month the toilet would back up at least twice a month. Not only did it happen to me but it also happen to my 3 Neighbors at the same time. It would start with the water bubbling in the toilet and then the bathtub would fill up with water and Fecal matter. Living at La Vue Emerald Pointe has been a very positive experience. The complex maintains the landscaping and putter appearance of the complex beautifully. The views around the apartments are breath taking. They have amentities that are always available to use. The apartments are located conveniently between everything you need from gas stations, to shopping plazas, reataraunts, and grocery stores. I enjoy living here, I have been here for a year now and I have only made one maintenance request and it was taken care of within two days. Apartments are nice but management is the average. All they care about is your money. Is the office staff only here to sign new leases? They surely do not help you when you have an issue. Once they get you in, they no longer are worried about you. Had fraud on my bank account, had all the documents from the bank and everything... No care given by the staff. Government shutdown happens, no care given by the staff. If you can't pay, oh no worries, just pay us when you can, plus $200. Someone must have a quota for fees to get their bonus. Shame. What are they there for?

La Vue is a hidden treasure. The grounds are beautifully nestled by lakes that invite nature at your doorstep. I really appreciate that management engage residents to build a community by creating events for us to attend. The staff have been attentive to any concerns that I had which has been few. The grounds are always well maintained. The apartments are well appointed, clean and safe. It is such a great value in the heart of Hollywood!!

I have been living here for the past 6 months and I'm very pleased with my situation. The office staff and maintenance are always doing their best to help with any problems I have. Compared to other apartment complexes the price is cheap.

I've lived here for a year and just signed another lease. Both the property manager, Vanessa, and the leasing consultant, Melissa, have been accommodating in various ways. I have always felt that if I need anything I can go to the office staff and just ask. The maintenance crew is so nice, too. They installed my son's disco light when we moved in and we immediately became friends. My son and I have felt very safe here.

I was hesitant about this complex after reading these reviews, but I checked it out anyway. I must say I was presently surprised. The office staff is very professional and always smiling. I have lived here for a little over 5 months now. I have an amazing view of the golf course, everything is included (except FPL of course), I was able to save $$ by cancelling my gym membership and they have FREE kickboxing class every Weds too!! I am very unhappy with this establishment. I have lived there for a year and I would like to think I was very good tenant. Never late with and never complained. I first moved into La Vue primarily because of the location. The apartment complex where I lived previously (also in Hollywood, but I won't mention name) experienced a series of break-ins. I am only giving this place 2 stars because of the location and the price. Besides that... This place is horrible! I should have listened to the reviews from other sites. When people said they only care about getting your money, they were right!!! We have had nothing but issues and frustrations since we moved in and get a different story from everyone that we talk to.
