Services
Reimbursements from Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance cover about 85% of the cost for our patients and families. YOUR donation helps fill the remaining gap - ensuring that no patient is turned away because of an inability to pay. Only donations to Gulfside Hospice make this possible and all donations are used right here in Pasco County.
Hospice is comfort care, specially designed to address the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs for those facing end of life, and support for their families. My mom had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Moffitt has been treated her up to the time she needed to move on. Despite of weekend, they came to our home to sit down for all paperwork we need and arrange everything to be ready for her discharge. On the day her discharge, one of the nurse came to Moffitt to make sure all her medicines and painkiller through the IV is set to go.
After she came home, home care Nurse Ellen and Sharon came immediately to visit her, then social worker, chaplain and CNA (twice/week) came in next 5 days. Nurse Ellen and Sharon were great nurses who took care of my mother with

Gulfside Hospice & Pasco Palliative Care doesn't deserve 1 Star. Hospital said my sister cancer had spread and that we didn't have much longer with her. They would not move my sister into Hospice for Care. The day my sister passed away I spoke with Gulfside Hospice 3 times and all I kept hearing from them was she didn't meet the criteria. My sister passed away a home because she didn't meet their Criteria. They were horrible and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. ??? Was she not sick enough because she was on Medicaid & Medicare.

Your Loved One is better passing away alone than having anything to do with these people! My Dad died more than an hour before they showed up. And when the funeral home came they discovered they stole his wedding ring. When we talked to the facility he wasn’t the first. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!
