All Coast Dental is the family owned general and cosmetic dental practice of husband and wife dentists, Dr. Joseph and Dr. Julie Boulos, who have been treating the residents of Pacific Beach, California since 2010. Known to patients as having exceptional customer service, All Coast Dental has a team dedicated to understanding the unique needs and concerns of each patient.
Joseph and Dr. Julie Boulos are husband and wife dentists practicing general dentistry in Pacific Beach, California. They met while working in biomedical research at UCLA and graduated together, in the same class, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in Michigan. Their oldest daughter, Jacqueline, was born on the day they graduated from dental school.
Yetzina joined the All Coast Dental Team in 2015 as our new Office Manager and brings with her over 16 years of administrative experience in the dental industry. She began working in the dental field at the age of 21 and since that time has gained considerable training in customer service for dental patients, dental insurance billing, and completed a one year management training course by an industry leader in the field of dental management.
Keeping our teeth their whitest is a lot harder than it sounds. With all the coffee, wine, smoking and other foods that have the ability to stain our teeth on a daily basis, even proper maintenance sometimes leaves them a little lackluster. Teeth whitening is an excellent way to restore the natural color of your teeth or even make them whiter than your natural color if you would like.
Veneers are an excellent way to redesign and reshape your entire mouth. Veneers are a very thin ceramic shell that covers your existing tooth structure. In placing these new veneers on your teeth, you are able to fix the look of issues such as staining, cracked teeth, spaces, misaligned teeth, chipped teeth and many other issues.

What a great practice that has established its self here in Pacific Beach. Staff is great always friendly helpful and work hard. We are moving and I'm going to miss this dentist office. After years it's always fast painless and never had an issue, they work really well with Military dental insurance and prices are great with great quality work. I have heard the dentists here are amazing. This came from my own dentist in Pasadena. He referred me to this group after I moved. Unfortunately I never got past the front office. She was extremely rude and confrontational, asking questions about how I was referred which had nothing to do with my current situation. I had received instructions from my dentist to make sure to mention who referred me. The woman just kept rebuffing me and rudely questioning me about who had referred me. Moving on.

I had a crown put on the tooth that my pinky is touching due to a root canal a couple months back. (behind the the tooth gem). My dentist matched the color of my teeth, now my teeth look fancy and unstained. My roots aren't brown and decayed anymore. I would highly recommend All Coast Dental for root canals and crowns, I am so impressed with their work and have no complaints. This dental office is the best in Pacific Beach.

Honestly such a pleasant experience every time I go. I actually look forward to my visits. My hygienist Jessica is so thorough and helpful. She takes time to point out any trouble areas I may want to pay attention to in my daily oral hygiene routine, and it's made all the difference. Dr. Boulos is always friendly, informative, and gentle with his care. The front desk staff goes out of the way to make the whole experience convenient and has always been quick to respond to any scheduling or insurance inquiries I've had. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who has a smile :)

I felt really fortunate after moving out to San Diego just a few months ago to find this dentist. I used the Google reviews to guide me. Dr. Joe Boulos has done awesome for me. Before leaving my previous home the dentist in that area tried to fix a cracked tooth. However the cap was put in place did not fit right and it started causing me pain. Dr. Joe shaved the tooth to the correct fitting and I immediately started feeling comfort. Unfortunately about six weeks later I started having pain again in that tooth and even though multiple x-rays did not Indicate that the part of the tooth remaining

I've had lots of dental work done in a few different cities I've lived in, NOTHING comes close to the amount of hospitality, consideration, professionalism, and courtesy that's displayed at All Coast Dental. Dr. Joseph Boulos is extremely kind and helpful, and everyone at their office seems to go out of their way to make you feel at home. Before any procedure he lays out exactly what will be doing, ensures there is no discomfort during it, and even follows up with a phone call a few days later to check in. Came in completely filled to the rim with anxiety! After the initial cleaning and xrays we found out what was needed and I put it off for awhile. The dentist personally sent me one of the most genuine letters I’ve read and they ended up working with me to make my procedures happen! Now everything is healed without any complications. Everyone is extremely polite and I feel truly cares for their job. They helped with my anxiety a ton and the operation was completely painless.

This office is as good as they come. Dr Boulos is a very kind, compassionate, and skillful dentist. In the past 5 years that he has been my dentist he has demonstrated multiple times that my best interests are more important to him than profits. A very trustworthy man. I really love this dental office! As a nurse I know that I am not an easy patient. With that said, I have been going to all coast for about a year and a half now and have nothing bad to say! My past experiences with the dentistry were never pleasant and ended up developing a fear of the dentist. Since I had this fear I refused to go for a long time which wasn't good in the long run. The end result at the time put me at a uncomfortable point where it hurt to do simple tasks i.e. brushing and flossing. So I looked to seek dental help from 2012-now I have had trials ALL errors with 6 dental groups. All of them seemed like they they just wanted the dollar, no care at all. I came in for a cleaning and first appointment introduction. I had a great visit. Jessica was my hygienist and she was extremely informative and nice. I didn't realize how unbelievably amazing Dr. Joseph Boulos and his staff were until I relocated across the country and had a nightmare experience at the dentist. Dr. Joe is the BEST dentist in San Diego-- not just for people who are VERY fearful of getting dental work done like myself, but also because he is a grade A professional at his craft. I Went into his office and was greeted by a very friendly staff and felt comfortable through the entire process. I had a clean and they took the time to talk with me about a plan for my mouth. I can't say enough about this place! I came in for a filling and afterward, it didn't feel right. My tooth was extremely temperature sensitive and it was causing me a lot of pain. I came in 3 separate times and Yetzina, the Dental Hygienists, and Dr. Boulos tried an array of things to help the pain subside. Dr. Boulos even took x-rays, which showed no issues with the filling. Finally, Dr. Boulos decided to replace the filling, free of charge. These last four dentist appointments sound like a nightmare, but with a staff so friendly, I didn't even mind. Overall wonderful experience; informative, helpful, and reasonably cost. I'm new to the area and had a dental emergency and they saved me! Not only did they see me promptly, while still respecting the other appointments they had in place, but they were very quick and talked me through everything so that I could thoroughly understand. Great customer service! My family was traveling from out of town and our nanny had severe dental pain. They saw her on the same day and the doctor and staff stayed after hours to get her treated. I was so impressed by my experience at All Coast Dental. I've been to several dentists over the past few years and I've always felt like I'm being taken advantage of or up-sold on treatments I don't need. An added bonus is that if you're having any type of procedure done, he will call you later that day or the next day to make sure you are comfortable.
Whaaat?!? I've never had a dentist do that before. Pretty much it's drill and kill. Oh wait, the patient survived? Well that's a bonus.

Wow! All Coast Dental is the epitome of customer service and quality care. I recently received dental insurance from my employer and searched through their server to find an in-network dentist.
