My name is Lindsey and I am originally from Garland, Utah. I've worked at Canyon View Animal Health Center since 2006. I have an Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology. I am a certified veterinary technician. I currently own numerous four legged kids. I have a natural ability to attract cute, needy, and lost little fur-babies!
Our in-house diagnostic laboratory means your pets' illness will be diagnosed on the same day. We also have a state-of-the-art X-ray and dental machine, and a full surgical suite. If a clean hospital is your style, come on in and visit us! Our groomers have been doing this for a while. They specialize in making your dog (and occasional cat) look their best!
No need to get a prescription and then go to your nearby Pharmacy. Our hospital is a one-stop-shop for diagnosis and treatment. Our pharmacy has all the essential medications that a state-of-the-art hospital needs for very affordable prices. Our team of doctors are some of the best surgeons in the Box Elder County.

Ever since I can remember I have had a fascination and a love for animals. Some of my earliest memories are of me riding a horse, helping to process beef cattle, or chasing a sheep on my Grandfather's ranch in Scipio, Utah. By the age of 12 I had my very own Brittany Spaniel, appropriately named "Brit, " that went everywhere with me.

I had an idea of what was going on, vet did not listen to me. They tested for the wrong thing and my cat ended up having what I originally thought, which was tapeworms he almost died as they spread to his organs. They “forgot” to charge me for a fecal sample after I paid $190 and I had to pay another $37. I didn’t feel my concerns were heard and my pets weren’t cared for like they should’ve been. Seems like they just wanted my money. Don’t take your sick pet here.

First off, they have my dog's breed wrong in their information. Second they are off on their pricing. They tell you one price and then it can as much as triple. The Vet also gave me incorrect information about ear cropping. He told me it does not affect the dog at all except for discomfort. That is incorrect, it also affects social behavior with other dogs and will damper hearing effectiveness. Lastly, and here is the kicker. They told me $18 for the rabies shot so I kept $40 from my check to pay. When I went to pay it jumped up to $63 dollars. I apologized

I am visiting from another state, and was in need of vet to give my dogs monthly injection because she has Addison's Disease. I called the Canyon View Cares Vet Hospital and was greeted very kindly by their staff. I explained what I needed assistance with, and they quickly made an appointment for us. All the staff we met were very friendly, professional, and understanding.

Traveling from Mississippi to Idaho in an RV and my kitten ate my big cats medicine. It was an emergency. They saw us super quick and very well may have saved her life. They are everything you need and want in a vet. God bless you guys!

Had a pleasant experience with the staff when I took my dog in to be spayed. They were polite, and explained a few things upon the pick up time. Having worked in the animal field myself, I was pleased with the information I received, and the treatment of my Gordita aka Gordi.
The one thing I would change, is something I've had several other vets offices do over the years, and that's to get a check in call after a few days. A simple call asking how an animal is a few days after surgery. While it's not a big issue. I do know alot of owners would appreciate it. Takes just a few minutes and let's

We love Dr. Akagi!
We recently had our cat hit by a car and brought him in. The compassion and care Dr.Akagi showed made a very difficult situation easier.
He has taken great care of our German Shepherd. I love that he just sits on the floor to examine and to play with him. He is so patient with our dog and of all of our questions.
He truly seems to love animals and his job. We are so grateful he is our vet.

My dog was up all night severely sick and I knew she needed to be seen by a vet. Canyon view had done such a great job neutering my cat I decided to try and set up a time. The big obstical though is that I work at the school district as a non salary employee. My paycheck drys up this time of year. Canyon view was amazing and they understood. The helped me find a way to pay my bill, got me in to the vet the same day, and worked hard to help my dog with out charging me an arm and a leg. Called first thing this morning because I thought my dog was having seizures and was able to get an appt within an hour and a half!! Very thankful for that!! Dallas unfortunately is having a seizure problem. Dr. Akashi Spent a lot of time with us and listened to all my concerns and was great explaining possible causes and what I need to do at home from now on to treat his seizures. This is our first time at the Perry location, Layton is our usual place. The best part of all this, Dallas is a new patient and they still saw us urgently!! If I didn't have to give them a star I wouldn't. This is the third time I've called to schedule and appointment for my animals and their availability has been non existent. First dog was having a sesure, I called them freaking, wanted my dog seen immediately and was told that the doctor that was suppose to be in wasn't and they then recommended me to a vet hospital in clearfield because there was nothing they could do. Today I called my dog is fevering and having eye issues and I was told that they don't even have a vet available until Tuesday. It's Friday Morning... How in the heck do you run

I have always loved the Drs here. They always remember packer and know exactly what to do for him. They keep good information in his charts and know which groomers to put him with for best reactions on all sides. So grateful for the kind and informative staff. If I call them they try to help me over the phone quickly and help keep cost down unless it's absolutely needed.

Canyon View Animal Health Center is an awesome, super well priced, full service animal hospital that really does cater to all of our small animal pet needs! We have two dogs and two cats, and have definitely visited our fair share of vet hospitals in the past few years...and I must say that Canyon View is the one we are sticking with while we are living in N. Utah! They offer insanely affordable vet services, ER services, boarding, grooming, sell food and supplies...it really is full service!
