Your Association employs a highly-qualified professional Community Manager, and we think residents should know what the manager has-and has not-been hired to do. The manager has two primary responsibilities: to carry out policies set by the Board and to manage the Association's daily operations.

Even though you live in an Association, you might be surprised how many of your neighbors-owners and renters alike-don't really understand the fundamental nature of common-interest communities. And we know that many others, including the media and government officials, lack a true understanding of the community association (or condominium) concept.

If you think hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes and floods won't happen to you or that you don't need to insure against these disasters, you're among the nearly half of U.S. homeowners and renters who lack the insurance coverage needed to deal with potential losses, according to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
If you are an owner who leases your unit, we would like to make the leasing experience successful and positive for everyone by informing you of your responsibilities. This will help preserve your property value specifically and maintain the association's property value in general. Your tenants may not be familiar with common-interest community living.

EDIT - after recent developments, I have downgraded my rating.
Shawna had asked me to review Allen Associates at the start of a contentious HOA disagreement. When I wrote my original review, I did not have a clear picture of the community.
I have downgraded my rating to two stars as I feel that AA have not been as proactive nor professional as they would like for people to think. They seem to be fine with people breaking the rules of the HOA and allowing long-simmering disputes to boil over due to lack of action on their part.
They prefer to maintain the status quo, rather than actively addressing

Shawna is great personally! She is ALWAYS responsive and very quick to getting back to you! I had no idea I couldn’t park in a certain spot and she politely told me the places I could park and helped me out when I was in a tight bind! Most places wouldn’t care about there residents or anything but Shawna is great I recommend Allen associates anyday!

As a realtor, ensuring I'm getting proper data for my clients is a must. I spoke with Shawna multiple times to confirm what I received from the title company. She was responsive, helpful, and patient. She's great!

After living at sable landing for 3 years it is time for a new management company. I rent from my uncle and he tried refinancing the property this year. Because of the outside maintenance and the inside the property is not worth as much as neighboring properties. Something needs to be done with the inside smell. Although my condo is completely remodelled and looks nice the outside and inside of the property detours other buyers and renters. The road needs to be fixed on the outside im tired of hitting potholes everytime i leave and enter or have compaby have over everyone complains.

I have been dealing with Shawna Allen and Allen Associates for years. I have found them to be professional, responsive, and consistent as property managers. Shawna always answers her phone, and gets back to me with solutions, never a run-around. She has gone above and beyond in resolving any issues I or my tenants have ever had. I highly recommend Allen Associates.

Short-sighted, negligent, and border-line financially corrupt. They'd rather pay (repeatedly) to repair vandalism damage than put in security cameras; they take forever to repair the boatloads of damage done by renters. A water main broke the day we moved, and 12 months later, nothing has been cleaned up/fixed. The sign is still propped against the side of the building. They occasionally (rarely) return emails when we (owners) report the damage, but when I call and leave a message, only a few times have they replied. One time out of dozens I've gotten through to someone at the office when I call
