Buyer beware! Check the actual room before paying for it as it may be labeled non-smoking but stills smells like the previous guests smoked in the room. They stuck me in a room where the vanity lights didn’t work and knew they didn’t work. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The towels provide a great exfoliation as they are so rough. The housekeeping either keeps your used towels and doesn’t replace them unless you call twice for new ones or they just fold up the dirty towels and rehangs them for you to use later. Linens are not changed out and the bed is never made during your stay. My

Not a bad place to stay for a couple of nights except if you have a dog they do have a place for dogs to do their duties on the property and there is no place close for them. The housekeeper, Irma, was very thorough and helpful. Note, the room we stayed in was right next to the ice machine and was pretty noisy, even during the night and especially with people getting ice at all hours. Rates are a little steep for a low cost motel room.

It has been a decade since I have been in the area. Even before renovation the staff have always been kind and hospitable. I am glad to see this gem has been shined. Very reasonable rates. In room amenities varie by room. Beautiful courtyard. Ideal location. I started from nothing leaving a bad situation years ago, and I still feel very comfortable and safe here starting again from a less serious predicament. Really, I love this place. (As I lay in a very comfortable bed in my room here currently) thanks guys

I am in room 35. First look was just a basic low end motel room. It appeared to be spare but clean. When I pulled back the covers to expose the mattress, the box spring had what appears to be blood and filth. Really disgusting. Dirt all along the frayed ripped fabric. I've seen better box springs lying on the side of the highway. I stripped one bed to cover the other with the sheet so it gives an added barrier. I'm too tired to demand my money back and try to find another room. I won't be staying here again. If I can figure out how to post the photos I've taken to verify what

Really surprised at the negative reviews. We got a deal online for a king bed at $84 before taxes and fees. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice sized table with two chairs. Ample lighting, an extra mirror, microwave, mini fridge. No coffee maker and no hair dryer, and the bed was on the too soft side (we "sunk" a bit when we laid down). There's a little lawn area with some seats by the front office if you want to sit around. The area has a few druggies around but everyone I interacted with was harmless and friendly. They had oversized towels which was great!

I checked in on Monday October 3rd and instantly I knew it was going to be a long weeks stay. 1st off no in room coffee, which I was able to accept. 2nd of the 5 electrical outlets in the room only the one with the GFI by the sink would hold a phone or charging adaptor without bracing it with a table or chair. The shower too was an experience in that you can't regulate the temperature. I shut off the shower prematurely and not but 5 seconds later I turned it back on only to experience ice cold water. They tried to fix it but failed. They didn't offer to switch me to another room. Another

This is the epitome of a negative star experience.
We stayed here before and the condition of the room, the age of the motel and it's furnishings were known to us.
That is why we wanted to stay elsewhere, but I have a sick relative, it was late, so beggers can't be choosers.
We stop in at 10:30pm, and even though it's only 3 weeks since our last stay, the rate has gone up $20. Okay, maybe it's peak season now, even at flea bag motels...
I find a coupon for 10% off on Yelp.
Owner refuses to honor it and points out the expiration date of 2011.

I booked my room through Hotwire, so l had no idea what property l was going to stay at until l confirmed my reservation. l read an awful review on Yelp and was pretty concerned. I have to tell you that l was pleasantly surprised. This is a small, older, budget priced motel. I found my room was clean, it smelled clean and fresh and the paint was fresh. This is not a luxury motel, it's for the price conscious traveler. Fridge and small microwave included, free WIFI. No coffee maker or hair dryer. One wish is that the pillows were better. Overall it's perfect for my business travel l&apos

My husband stayed there in December, 2014. Really nice staff, and a lovely, very clean room.
But be warned - there is no coffee maker!! At least there wasn't in his room, and no coffee available at the front desk/lobby. He had to go to a nearby gas station to get some! Other than that, it's a great place to stay! Edit: He says the wi-fi did not work, either.

Very, very unfriendly! I called to find out if they accept pets and the man said, "I don't have any rooms today." I told him I wasn't looking for a room today, I just wanted to know if they accept pets. He said, "Why are you calling if you don't need a room today?" I told him that I was going to make a reservation on-line, but I didn't want to do it if they didn't accept pets. He said, "Don't call here again." Now why would I make a reservation at a place where the man who answers the phone is so unfriendly and so unhelpful??? I
