Beyond the Bricks is owned by Russell Reed, a home inspector who has been working in the field and who has been involved in the engineering and construction industry for most of his life. Russell truly loves that his job as a home inspector allows him to help people as they navigate one of life's most important decisions - the purchase of a home.
At Beyond the Bricks, we abide by the TREC Standards of Practice (SOP) during all of our home inspection services. Our inspections are thorough, giving our clients more than just a surface-level understanding of the property. We make the very best attempt to walk every roof for the home inspection, but if it is unsafe to do so due to height, pitch, or weather conditions, then we will use an Aerial Drone to inspect the roof instead.

Russell was fantastic. When searching for quotes, he was the most responsive and professional of all the inspectors I spoke with. He also beat everyone else on price! Day of inspection, he arrived early and started with the outside, in case we weren't yet ready for him inside the house. He inspected everything thoroughly and looked into all the issues I had noted. After the inspection, I realized there was one more thing I had forgotten to show Russell. I got in touch with him about it, sent him photos of the issue from various angles, and he was able to update the report with his opinion on the

Russell did a great job on the inspection. The report was organized and very easy to navigate through. He pointed out the areas of concern on a separate document which made for a quicker reference during negotiations. Also, the 3D and drone pictures were awesome.

Beyond the Bricks inspected my house recently and did a tremendous job. I have a very tall house with a steep roof and Russell pulled out his drone, which flew over the property and was able to point out a couple issues that I would have never known about until it was too late. He spent a big part of his day here and was the most thorough I've ever seen, and I've had quite a few houses inspected over the years. I highly recommend this company.
