Yes, we do. We advertise, screen calls, show the property, complete background checks, and negotiate and provide all contracts for just a 1/2 months rent (minimum $500). No money is needed to get started; our fee is due in full once a resident is approved by you the owner. At that time we supply you with the proper contracts and answer any questions you may have in regards to filling them out properly.

Please note that we adhere to the first full application received is the first application processed. In order to be the first application we need all of the below and confirm that you or another person in the property has viewed the home.
We cannot hold a property before receiving an application. We process all applications on a first-come-first-serve basis and cannot hold a property for more than 24 hours between the time an application is approved and the lease is signed/deposit is paid. No, your security deposit does not include first and last month's rent, and is fully refundable at move out.

Very unprofessional group. I was in contact with the property group for the last week regarding a listed rental property. On the day of my scheduled tour I looked at the home on the listed website. The property was marked "off market" I called and confirmed that even though I had a scheduled appointment to view this property has been taken. There was zero communication to inform me of this and that is extremely unprofessional. I hope I do not come across this group as my search continues

I rented an apartment in downtown San Diego from BPM for a year. While my neighbors who owned in the building had issues with the building management, BPM shielded me from all that drama. They always kept me informed but didn't over-communicate. When I had issues with my roommate they were understanding and responded constructively while maintaining an appropriate professional distance. I'm only leaving now because I bought a house, but if my house were in San Diego I would seriously consider asking BPM to manage it for me.

First of all, I need to commend the owner of University Terrace Apartments for taking an interest in his property and bringing it up to par and ifs original glory. We've had several property management companies and Beyond is by far the best. They hired Desirea Johnson who is always there when we need her. She's professional and really cares about our property and also about the tenants. We are extremely lucky to have her. They are doing some much needed upgrades to the units in order to bring it up to standard. I believe that when all of the improvements and upgrades are dine, this

As a former tenant from fall 2018 to summer 2021. Here is my feedback and opinions: They respond well to simple ticket items. Minor maintenance issues were addressed quickly. That was the only positive with them.
However our house had many items we wanted fixed that either they or the owner would not fix. (ex. we never had a shower door, bath tub drain-stop never worked, range hood vent never worked to name a few)
My advice to new tenants: Record EVERY phone call, print every email, and take videos and pictures of every nook and cranny of the house/apt. Every blade of grass should be documented

During the initial walk-through, Sandy assured us that the irrigation system was in the process of being fixed.
My move-in inspection listed many, many issues that were overdue for maintenance. I was given the impression that the previous tenant had been a problem, and chalked it up to that.
After 2 months, none of the issues had been addressed. No handyman, no landscaper, nothing. I started submitting maintenance requests. I think there were 11 in total. Two were cancelled, 7 were never responded to, 1 received a repair.

Would discourage anyone from using BPM if you can avoid it. Owner/Manager Danyel Brooks is extremely unprofessional and rude.
During my time renting through BPM we experienced poor customer service through out the duration of our time in the property. Service tickets were not responded to in a timely manner and when I did get in contact with someone they were rude and often unhelpful.

Kandise has been a very responsible and proactive property manager for us for over a year now. She makes suggestions and provides solutions and options for whatever may come up as she has a wealth of experience in this business. Whenever I needed to reach out and contact her for something, most recently an insurance claim due to storm damage, she always picked up and provided claim updates and tenant updates without hesitation. After getting the runaround for a week of just a simple request to see a property & provide them with everything they asked for as far as proof of income. they ask for more info like you're a criminal or that you're not providing them with valid information! Very unprofessional! I'll take my business somewhere else!
