I came across this spot on my hunger adventure and I wasn't disappointed, the workers here are truly friends and at the end of the day the staff here were amazing. I ordered the torta and it was by far the best I've ever had, the soft yet crunchy torta was mouth watering and the meat was of good texture!! I recommend 20/10 this my new spot!!

I really wanted to like this restaurant especially after i found out it is a family run business:( gosh.. this is a hard one.
i ordered a cheese enchilada w/red sauce. And crunchy chicken taco meal. my friend ordered 2 chicken enchiladas w/green sauce meal.
Chips were good, however... the salsa was sooo watery. I gave up eating because i like big scoops of salsa on my chip and it literally ran off and splashed table and my sweater each time. one of the girls serving was on her phone talking into it on speaker as she was coming out yo the tables so loud i heard her ask about a christmas party

Thank Goodness the chef was at least wearing a mask. The other staff, however, were completely maskless. It's uncomfortable to be served and have to be within 6 feet of someone who doesn't care about the mandatory mask orders and obviously doesn't value the health of their customers. We almost walked out, but the saving grace was the chef that had her mask on. Friendly dudes working there, but no regard for health and safety of the public.

For years I'd drive by this restaurant and never considered giving it a try ,I decided to give it a try and was satisfied .
The chicken / shrimp plate had a lot of flavor
The rice was cooked good ,not too mushy but had a nice texture
The taco's were good,I'm definitely coming back to try more items on their menu

Thought we'd try this spot after reading the reviews. Hmmmm, no bueno. The owner (?) was nice enough, but the food was bland and tasteless. I had shrimp in a cream sauce with rice and beans. No flavor. Husband had asada fajitas. Again, no flavor. Wine margarita was ok. Chips and salsa, ok. We've been experimenting, going to different Mexican food places, trying to find something different than our usual La Parilla in Riverbank. Guess we'll keep looking. So far Tesoro's on Tully has been our favorite new find!!

Was the best I've had in a long time. Today was my first time there and I WILL be back! Good prices and wonderful service. They kept my glass full and kept checking to see if I needed anything else. I don't know their names, but the gal said she worked there on Wednesdays. I will definitely return and bring more friends and family.

Best Chile Colorado and Chicken Mole ever. The flavors in these 2 dishes are wonderful. I haven't tried any of the other dishes yet, but I will one day when I'm not craving my mole or Chile Colorado. Their food tastes like it's all from scratch. Many Mexican restaurants in Modesto have gotten too big and their quality has gone down.
