Marcella's is our favorite go to restaurant! Authentic Mexican food, family owned, great menu and pricing, relaxed atmosphere, very friendly/attentive staff! I enthusiastically recommend, you won't be disappointed!

This place is disgusting and dirty. The food is gross and comes from cans. This place used to be the best in modesto. It’s now not even edible and the place is filthy. I will never come back here again. They over charged us for our meal and put a 20% gratuity automatically. Check your cards when you eat here they are not only serving in edible food but they are also serving up scams.

One star is being generous. First impressions are everything. When we walked into this restaurant for a party it was dirty and the carpets smelt horrible. If the front of the house is dirty where everyone can see it, makes l me wonder how bad the back is where the cook everything. I decided to look past it and try the food anyways. My enchiladas were disgusting. I took two bites and couldn’t eat anymore. With SO many good Mexican places in Modesto I will definitely never come back here.

Food is always decent but with the plates coming to the table at 8,469 degrees it tells me they are microwaving the food. Beer was cold and the wait staff is and always has been very friendly.

Food is fresh and flavorful. Beef and chicken tacos are good. Salsa is mild is just ok. Lots of chips. Good sized portions. Pictures of COVID-19 take out period. I prefer a different style but overall really good.
