Born & raised in beautiful, San Diego, California, it feels like I'm always on vacation. I am an alumni of Helix Charter High School (Class of 2004) with an emphasis in telecommunications & attended Grossmont Community College for general education. I have a love for all things creative & music & have been a part of San Diego's hip hop dance community for over 10 years.
I retired from dance & competing on a team back in 2013 but will always be a dancer at heart. After many failed attempts of trying to go to college to major in subjects that my parents believe I should be working in; I went to Marinello School of Beauty & received my Cosmetology license in 2009. I am a certified Pravana Master Colorist.

Tany is an amazing hair stylist!!! Not only is she talented in her craft, she has a beautiful personality to go with it.
As a wedding planner, it is so important to recommend vendors that are dedicated, personable and skilled in their profession. Tany is all of this and more! She comes prepared on the event day, ready to start the day on the right foot and she makes sure that her clients are looking their best. I truly look forward to working with her again and again.

Tany is AMAZING! With over 10 years of experience in the industry, she exudes talent! Not to mention, she is super sweet, patient, and all-around fun to work with! She's worked some magic on my hair from cuts to dye jobs. Recently she did mine and my girls' hair for my wedding (yes, she showed up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed even on a holiday, with last-minute venue changes and all). I've spent most of my life hating my hair. There's tons of it. It's fine, easily knotted, frizzy, wavy(ish), coarse and generally unruly. Tany makes my hair feel healthy and lay how hair is meant to!
Tany has been cutting my hair since I moved to San Diego 11 years ago. I continue to make the 40 minute trek down to Point Loma from North County because there is only one Tany.
She always makes time for me, even when I give her short notice. My schedule isn't super flexible being a full time working mama so being able to make an appointment that doesn't have to be a month

Tany has been my one and only hair stylist for almost 7 years! I've followed her from her old salon in La Mesa, she's worth it!! She's amazing and most importantly realistic and honest about her craft. A lot of the time, when people want to change styles or colors they expect an immediate and drastic change, but that comes with time and she let's you know the good the bad and the beautiful about what you want. I've been through a bangs phase, a peek a boo, and many different styles in between and there is no one I trust more with my hair than her!! She's sweet, outstanding

I went to Tany for a bit of a change and a color correction. I also wanted to go lighter without severely damaging my hair. Tany definitely delivered on both, and I'm happy with my hair (although I could go a little lighter down the road). She is so sweet, professional, easy to talk to, and I love how my hair looked AND felt after she was done with it! I would definitely go back :)

I cannot rave enough about this talented woman. Tany is the only person I trust with my hair. I have actually given away a winning raffle prize for free cut or color at a salon in La Jolla, because I'm very loyal to Tany. She has been my stylist for almost 10 years now. I recommend all my friends and family to her. She has given me wonderful color combinations when I wanted unicorn/mermaid hair. I've known Tany for almost 8 years and watched her evolve to the stylist she is now, can't say enough of how impressed I am. I've kept my head shaved down for as long as I can remember but decided I wanted to grow it out and let Tany take the reigns. She always make sure you're happy with what she's doing and has such a warm and exciting personality that puts you at ease the whole time.

Tany has helped me discover that blondes do have more fun! It all started 4-5 years ago with peekaboos, which soon became a balayage ombre, then more balayage and babylight appts and now I am as blonde as can be! She has walked me through each and every process and made sure I knew how to maintain my hair afterwards. Even though our appts are long (due to my thick mane) it always seemed to go by fairly quickly bc we're always talking and laughing! Her personality and skill set make me feel at ease for every visit -- I'm always looking forward to our upcoming appts! Thanks Tany!!

This hairstylist is amazing!! When I first started seeing her I hadn't had a hair cut in over 10 years and she was so patient and kind. Through the years she's cut and colored my hair and I have recommended many friends and family members to her and they all become returning clients.
