Much like Brahms's mastery over many musical disciplines – symphonies, concerti, chamber music, piano music, and choral compositions – Dr. Rabanus is a master of many dentistry disciplines. After extensive research into the Bay Area's top cosmetic dentists, I was fortunate enough to have discovered Dr Rabanus. His informative website and wonderful "before and after" photos illustrate how truly masterful he is at creating wonderful smiles - not just "whiter teeth", but a beautiful blend of art and science to produce a terrific, natural-looking smile.

Read his website, looked promising. Showed up at his SF office in the morning as a walk-in. Asked the receptionist for an appointment, first thing she gave me was a form to fill out - after filling it half way, I asked when I could possibly see Dr. Rabanus (as I had a bit of a dental emergency, front tooth chipped pretty badly). She seemed surprised, and said that he rarely there, and that I should just call his number directly to setup a time. The form was to see a completely different Dr. that works from that office. Dr. Rabanus placed veneers on my 8 upper front teeth, as well as several crowns on my molars, in Sept 2004 (ie, 14.5 years ago). While I concur with the opinion that he is extremely knowledgeable and skilled cosmetic dentist, I need to say something about the nature of dental veneers in general. If you are considering this cosmetic dental procedure, you should understand that veneers are not permanent. Dr Rabanus is an artist and has been crafting his work for decades. You can rest assured that you can go in for an appointment and you'll get exactly what you had hoped for and even better than expected. When I went to see him for my dental work I trusted him 100% and knew that I'm in good hands. Even my temporaries looked amazing.

Dr. Rabanus did my veneer work: 8 teeth total. He was excellent about explaining exactly what the process would entail, how it would work, and allayed any concerns I had immediately and candidly. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Rabanus. I went in with a smile that I wasn't pleased with in the least. In fact, I've always hated my smile. After a few weeks and 8 porcelain veneers later, he gave me something that I've always wanted. A beautiful smile that I could be proud of. I saw Dr. Rabanus after I had a poor experience with another dentist. I have always had fairly nice teeth and a smile which has gotten me compliments throughout my adult life. When I was in college, after a night of too many drinks, I managed to fall and chip three of my front teeth. I had the teeth bonded at the time and they looked perfect at the time. Years later they began to get discolored and needed to be replaced.
