Body tempering is a form of soft tissue mobilization developed by Donnie Thompson in 2014. Body tempering is performed by placing heavily weighted cylinders across muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia.

Kris the legend!! I spent the summer training in the gym, from June to September, ranging from 1-3 sessions/week, with the owner Kris and John. Kris is one of the most compassionate, loving and intuitive human beings I’ve met. John is the philosopher type who teaches you how to breathe to be more powerful:) i love both of them! Best gym i've ever been to. The trainers are all experts in their field and they emphasis safe and fundamental training methods. I joined the gym during covid, because I was uncomfortable with the idea of going to a gym with lots of people, they offer super small work outs in a state of the art facility with clean equipment. I have stayed because the results have been phenomenal. Ive never looked or felt better. This gym taught me real strength training and endurance!

This is an amazing gym with exceptional programming. I did a ton of homework on westside gyms before signing up here and couldn't be happier. I hesitated at first because I mistook it for a bodybuilding joint It's not. This is about personal fitness. Kris, the owner, has a vision. He's hands on, extremely knowledgeable, kind and down to earth. He makes it safe, efficient, smart and fun for all levels. Atmosphere is super friendly. Space is clean and styled. Cool staff and clientele. After two months, I feel stronger and like I'm on a new path. Exactly what I needed to up my game.

I hate going to gyms. I also hate working out at home. I have been to many and all types of classes. This is a completely different experience. Is the space very cool with great equipment and so on ? Yes, but the key ingredient is Kris along with his team of trainers. The knowledge being shared is unique because it is complete. There are no grey areas. Their focus is on the client and his/her goals and how to reach them safely and gradually to avoid injury. This is the opposite of one size fits all.

I have been to many gyms around the country and Gym Venice is unlike any other. Kris and his team are focused on empowerment and education. It's not about where you've been, it is about where you're going. YES! They will push you to the next level, but they will do so in a way marked by enthusiastic support. There are MANY gyms in this area. If you want sustainable results, do yourself a favor and come here! A+++

I highly recommend the gym Venice for personal training, I have personally gotten to know Kris Herbert who is owner and personal trainer. The Gym Venice is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Kris is a very personal guy and loves to take care of his clients and help them meet their goals. I have seen great results for myself and with his other clients!

Absolutely the best place for serious training!
I've been to literally every gym in the area and have never felt more at home. All the trainers are highly knowledgeable and are there to answer any questions I have about my training.
The owner is such a sweet guy and is great at personalizing a workout based on what you need!

The Gym Venice is awesome! The owner Kris has created a great space that is ideal for personal training, and the location on the westside is convenient. My trainer Darien is able to create tailored workouts that reflect my goals, and with the ability to use the latest equipment as well as utilize the yoga room and recovery room, The Gym Venice suits my needs for my evolving training regimen.
