YUM! Delicious food -- AND has delivery (and on time)!

Moist, perfectly spiced tandori chicken and chicken bhuna gosht.

My only suggestion: simmer longer to make the chicken even more fork tender.

The quality of food is good and cooked well. Howevrer the quantity is disappointing, Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala for delivery. the box is small than regular boxes and only had 3-4 small chicken pieces. Hakka noddles quantity was fine. looks all the curries are small portions.

Really, really delicious food. Without a doubt, some of the best Indian food I've ever eaten. Standouts were the Veggie Samosas, Lamb Rogan, Malai Kofta and Gulab Jamun. Our table of four dined in and did BYOB. Will definitely return!

Ordered via Grubhub: this is the best Indian food I have ever had. I ordered vegetable samosas, butter chicken, tikka masala and a yellow lentil vegetarian dish. All the food was wonderful. It tasted homemade in the best way possible. My only complaint would be that the portion sizes are too small, but perhaps I am just fat?

Went for breakfast Sunday morning, on google it shows restaurant is open at 8:30 am but it was closed. We went in @9:00am ordered idli & masala dosa - chutney was sour and was how many days old I don’t know. After complaining they gave fresh one. Samber was sourđŸ˜«, with pricey dishes u expect better quality, not going again any time soon.

The best Indian cuisine we've found in the area. The chicken 65 was incredible. The chili paneer appetizer had the perfect mix of flavor and heat. Just wish it was closer to home, it's a 20 minute drive, but definitely returning.

They are so friendly at Mrs. kumar's. The food is so tasty, they never let me down. Today I accidentally ordered ahead for tomorrow instead of for today and they had it ready in ten minutes flat. I am so thankful! Also, the new renovation inside is BEAUTIFUL!!! Highly recommend for either dine in or take out.

My goodness. My grandparents live close by and while visiting, we decided to step out and grab some dinner. The area is limited on options, but this place stands out above the rest. Everything we had, from the samosas to the butter chicken, was phenomenal. I could've licked the plates clean. If you go, definitely get the samosas. They're light and flaky, not over fried. I'll definitely be back there again.

A hidden secret in Monroe ; very good taste and variety of menu. No MSG and no artificial colors or flavours used. Very good ambience and friendly staff. Definitely worth trying.

They really shouldn't say that the heat level can be modified to your liking when the masalas are pre made. i got the dish goat biryani and the guy said he could "try" to make it mild. why not just say it cant be mild. want to try something else? i could barely eat my dish without crying. i cant handle their heat so I probably wont be back...

Heard good reviews. Tried chicken biriyani(with bone and boneless) - chicken was over cooked and did not taste nothing like biriyani at all. It was a disappointment for appetizers as well. New management, new look, but they should really get a good cook

Ate here before covid and ordered twice after and food is consistently delicious. Picked up food a couple weeks ago for a large family get together and everyone raved about their food! And it was all extremely hot and fresh. Heat level was perfect as I like my food spicy. Ordered less spice for my friend who is sensitive and it was just right. Glad I have a great Indian restaurant within a 5 min drive to me.

We have been ordering from Mrs. Kumar's for Take-Out since the start of the pandemic and everything has been consistently good. The staff is so friendly and while the dining room is closed right now, it looks very inviting. Our typical order consists of Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Tikka, and then one of the following from the Veg menu: Dal Mahini (black lentils), Dal Tadka (yellow lentils), Malai Kofta. We have also tried the Butter Naan, Garlic and Spinach Naan - all yummy. Nice size portions and reasonably priced.

Worth it
Wel well well. A surprising good food place that definitely deserves some review.
We ordered the Kings thali and ohh boy it was worth the drive from Philly.
The food is good, well balanced flavors and damnnn tasty. It’s a good amount of food to be shared between two to three ppl. And ohhh the food quality seems to be great. Best pasty they also give a banana leaf even when you get a to-go order.
This is a manger from my last trip in Atlanta. Genuine and humble guy ( happened to have an elephants memory)

The vegetable biryani is very tasty for the price the quantity is definitely light if you're used to, Bawarchi Biryani in North Brunswick. They can fix this by packing in the rice a bit properly.
Spicewise, they are true to Indian levels. If you're from Mumbai and don't eat a lot of heat - you should go with mild which will beat more 'spicy' levels in US Indian restaurants and is close to Taco Bell's Fire Sauce.
If your kids can't handle much spice - you will need plain white rice to make this mild enough for them. The Medium will be enough to far exceed 'spicy' in most Indian restaurants in

. The Indian food scene around Old Bridge area is not that great as compared to Edison/Piscataway. When I accidentally found Mrs.Kumar's yesterday, I reluctantly made an order a pick up and to my surprise , I had very very flavorful Hyderabadi mutton biryani with Salan. We also ordered Dhaniya Chicken. It was great. This small little family run place is a must try place.

Mrs Kumar's serves on par with good and as close to authentic India food one can get in US. It has a nice variety with some lesser known south Indian dishes. I have tried it twice now and will definitely try many more times. I haven't tried their appetizers but wish they make a mix of various appetizers.

I came on the recommendation from an Indian neighbor. Mrs. Kumars is doing only takeout and delivery (via doordash) during the Covid-19 pandemic.

I ordered Paneer tikka Masala, Andhra Chicken Masala, Vegetable Pakoda, Butter naan, and Gobi Manchurian. I had ordered the Andhra chicken Masala in medium spice but it was mild to me. There was dark meat chicken and the sauce was pretty good! The family liked the vegetable pakora, although I thought it could have used a bit more seasoning. The Gobi Manchurian was pretty good, as was the butter naan. The paneer tikka Masala was the worst dish. It wasn
