Love this place! Reasonably priced, food is always hot and taste delicious. Their sushi rolls are larger and stuffed unlike ShopRite or Wegmans. Been coming here for over 2 years and couldn’t be happier.

I like this restaurant very much. It has a very special feeling. The kitcen is good. the service is dynamic and the waiters are professional. The cost is modest. I definitely recommend.

Waited over an hour for my food — they clearly forgot about it. delivery never showed up so we went to them. i still waited 20 minutes in the store. so basically, one meal took 2 hours to make and the reason is, “we’re backed up”. insane. confronted the owner and she just piled excuses on top of each other. a simple ‘sorry we forgot’ would’ve done it for me. i used to love this place but im too disappointed with them... customer service over anything

We have been ordering from Shanghai for about half a year now and couldn't be happier with it. I gave up meat so I stick to tofu and vegetable dishes, can't speak on the meat. The ingredients taste fresh and clean. Even the fried dishes don't have that heavy fried feeling.
It is rare to find a Chinese/Japanese restaurant, and as good as the Chinese menu is we prefer the Japanese. The dumplings are excellent, and the tofu teriyaki is always on point. Salad that comes with the meal and dressing is delicious too.

I ordered couple weeks ago for delivery, and the food was really really good. It was fresh the sushi was very tasty. Will order again for sure!

The best place I've ever been too. I almost wish they didn't exist because I only want to order from them now. Forget pizza or my own cooking. I only want Shanghai.
Pro tip: Get the pineapple fried rice.

The best in the Spotswood, Helmetta, Monroe area. So much better than the other Asian restaurants in the area and Shanghai is better priced. We moved to Helmetta a year ago and just found out about Shanghai. Wish it could've been sooner. Don't waste your time with the other restaurants.

I celebrated my graduation earlier this evening in this excellent restaurant. happy to tell that we passed a great evening and the venue was absolutely one of the reasons for the outstanding celebration. The crew participated in a gorgeous manner, the cuisine was tasty and my friends were very happy. We shall definitely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

Great sushi & very good food! Love having the sushi, Japanese & Chinese options from one location! Delivery was on time & everything was perfect. The fried dumplings were amazing & ordering online was so easy. We will definitely be back!
