We want to ensure the EMS bodysuit fits properly to get the most out of your workout. It will take a few minutes to find the correct size for each client. Also, please ensure you arrive hydrated and have eaten a meal within 2 hours of the workout. After spending a little time getting to know your trainer, you will begin the workout and learn why EMS produces results with just 20 minutes once a week.
The view that moderate endurance training as a part of secondary prevention improves the prognosis for chronic heart insufficiency has been sufficiently validated. Based on experience, however, only a few well supervised, highly motivated and mostly younger patients can be reached with a complimentary, sustained, sports therapy in clinical practice.
EMS stands for the Electro Muscle Stimulation. From a technical perspective, EMS training is whole-body training based on sending the same electric impulses that the human brain sends when contracting the muscles. Notwithstanding, EMS training can reach and stimulate the deepest fibers of the muscles faster and more effective than the traditional physical workout.
With obesity rates at over 30 percent of the adults in Illinois, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend a healthy and active life, with healthy, nutritional food, and at least 30 minutes of physical activity each day.

However, not many of us have the necessary time to get our for a run or a walk in the park for 30 minutes, or to hit the gym 6-7 days a week, and the results are rising rates of obesity, due to too much stress, working extended hours or not having time for meal prep.
EMS training is beneficial for adults of all ages, all fitness levels and physical conditions. This type of training has low-impact and it requires few to no weights to see results. Instead of increasing weights, and keeping up with your progress, trainers adjust the levels of stimulation needed, based on how you feel that particular day, or what your fitness level is.

I started body time chicago on May 11th. It has been 12 weeks. All I can say every time I come in I see that I am improving. The trainers are extremely wonderful, helpful and encouraging. You do need that encouragement to improve more and in 20 minutes I feel like I am getting a full blown gym workout. Thank you ! Keep up the good work guys!

I am SO happy that I found this place!! My mom and I began coming here after hearing about EMS in Europe & it’s everything we hoped for an more. Not only is the 20 minute workout efficient and convenient, but it’s an awesome experience! The owners (Adrian and Florin) are so personable and knowledgeable and really make sure that I was comfortable, and motivated. They always take time to talk to me. The trainers are also super sweet, motivating, & make me feel comfortable! I’m so happy to have found this place because it’s a 10/10 experience everytime! I look forward to each session.

Adrian and his team do a great job of training you to reach your goals. The workouts are hard and you always feel the burn. As someone who has arthrogryposis these workouts definitely have helped me reach my goals better than just working out on my own. This is a great addition to my regular routine and has helped me push through my workouts. I've never felt stronger from such a short workout. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for an extra kick in the right direction. The trainers are very friendly and have your best interest in mind. They are very motivational

I love my sessions at Body Time! The trainers always bring a fun excited attitude which always puts me in the mood for working out. And the workout itself, is unlike any other work out I've done before. It's intense but, not hard on my body and joints. Body Time Chicago never fails to give me a good workout while also making sure I have a fun time. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone with a busy schedule looking for a quick workout. Because the workouts are only 20 minutes!!!! Again I highly recommend this gym.

I love Body Time! I am on my 6th week now and I have definitely noticed a difference! My body is more toned, significant change in my shoulders. I also feel stronger and my output on my peloton got off the chart after I hadn’t used it for a month!!! I sleep better, I have more energy and I am in a better mood. All in all I highly recommend body time!

I've been coming here close to 3 months now and I love it. It's only a 20 minute workout and you leave feeling like you've worked out for an hour. Inside is very clean and the staff is extremely nice. Every trainer that has trained me was super friendly and attentive. I recommend this place!

There's also always street parking.

Body Time Chicago made for one of the most memorable, intense, and refreshing workouts I’ve ever had. I was pretty skeptical at first about this place, but it has completely taken me aback.
I walked in and a super friendly trainer walked me through the EMS process, calculated some percentages based off my weight, and answered questions (and doubts) I had about this whole thing. Once I got into the suit, they strapped on the vest and electrodes and hooked me up to the machine that controls the EMS impulses.

I've been going to Body Time Chicago for the past 2 years and I must say they're a perfect fit for my lifestyle. My personal trainer is amazing, he knows exactly what I need and is extremely knowledgeable. I found out about Body Time from an online ad and went in just because they were giving out a free session. I had my doubts about EMS but boy it was fun. Long story short, I have been a member of BodyTime for a year now. They have a great, clean facility. All the trainers are very friendly, they keep me motivated and best at what they do. The workouts are personalized and the staff ensures you get the best workout in just 20 mins. This is a really great alternative for a good workout if you don't have a lot of time to dedicate to a gym. You don't need to bring anything with you which is a huge plus as everything is provided for your session in house. Covid precautions are in place and everything is sanitized after use! I was a little nervous at first to try out EMS training, but David was amazing at explaining everything and making sure the electrical pulses were within my comfort zone. I highly recommend trying this out to switch things up and get in shape!

Adrian and the team at Bodytime Chicago are simply the best. I've been training at this studio since it's opening last August. I must say at first I wasn't so sure about the technology but just after my first session I was sold and sore for days. Must try! I promise you'll be hooked.

Yesterday was my first time trying EMS work-out at Body Time in Chicago and I must say I was very impressed with the results. In less than 20 minutes , I worked out my whole body. I can feel it today. Incredible, that in such short time frame you get so much. Gym was very clean and equipment sanitized with labels. Very nice touch. Workout music complimented the ambiance. If you're tired of going to the gym 3-5 times per week for an hour each time, Body Time Chicago is the perfect solution. It's a 1 time per week 20 minute workout. This is a great option for those who don't have time to go to the gym every day. A 20 minute simple workout feels like the most rigorous 2-3 hour workout. After just a few sessions I've been to feel and see a difference. Adi does a great job explaining everything and answering all my questions. I'm so glad I found this place!

Just awesome! I definitely see my body changing, especially stomach area, just have to keep my diet in check. After leaving it feels like I just had a 2-3 hour workout in just 20 minutes. It's kind of far from my house but it's worth the drive. The trainers always push me go the extra mile and each session becomes more intense! Definitely for people who work long hours and don't have time to always hit the gym.

I must admit that I had my doubts about this new technology but everything changed when I walked in. The studio was clean, bright and welcoming. The staff and trainers were very friendly and knowledgeable.
The training was intense and I sweated like crazy. Two days later I was so soar and every muscle in my body was killing me.
I signed up and I will recommend this EMS to all my friends and family. Can wait to go next week!

Much like most Chicagoans that are borderline workaholics, I don't have time to go to the gym. When I heard about the whole concept that Body Time is based on, it sounded like something that it would fit my needs. I have been going to Body Time once a week for 3 months now and I can feel and see my body more toned. I am more fit, lean and energized that I have been in a long time. My muscle mass increased in the past 90 days and I have decided to enroll for another 90 days in the program. The studio is easily accessible and clean. The 2nd time because we are building my strength. I sweat so I know I'm working hard. I can feel the results, and as long as I eat right I see the results as well. I love that it's 20 minutes so I'm in and out and feel like I've done a good thing for my health and wellness.

I loved my experience at BodyTime! In only 20 minutes, I got tired and sore and knew I got a great workout in. The way I felt, definitely indicated that some serious work had been done in a short period of time. 5 weeks in already and amazing results are showing!! The trainers definitely know what they're doing!
100% recommended for busy or people lacking motivation to hit the gym.
