The pool area is amazing and I promise the kids will love it. Clean room and the beds are comfortable, Well that can be opinionated. Staff was friendly and helpful. To be honest I had no complaints so room service was my only interaction with there staff. I recommend Ocean side rooms for the view is beautiful. Hope you enjoy.

Last year my husband and I took our 6yr old to stay here, as her birthday is Dec 22nd, and we ended up staying until Christmas day and we had a lovely experience. The bed was amazing, the room was clean, and they even left a nice present for our daughter. This year we decided to go back to make it a tradition and had a terrible experience. The first night our shower was messed up, it went from scalding hot to ice cold with no In between and just kept fluctuating the whole time between those. We informed the front desk and they kindly let us move but the new room did the same thing just not as extreme

The view was nice from the jacuzzi room. However, the room was nowhere near what was pictured. The heart shaped tub was accurate, but it was surrounded in carpet. Also, we had hoped to use the Spa and the Restaurant in hotel to limit our external running around and both were closed during our stay.

It's been 14 years we are staying here, at least once if not more every year. And we means minimum 6 families. 2018 we took 12 rooms. But this time, is our last time. Leaving with a horrible experience. Couldn't come last 2 years because of pandemic. Our kids grownup here, so this year came with a huge expectation. But sadly, this is not the same hotel anymore. Rooms are not maintained. There is a door between our bedroom to living/kitchen/bathroom area. Middle of the night trying to go to the restroom, and the doorknob fall off. What a dilemma. Though we didn't see mice like other reviewers, saw

There is a lot of shabbiness about this place that was actually okay with my husband and me as it sort of spoke to his nostalgia growing up vacationing in OC. And the place was clean so that's important. Here's what was not nice at all: the pool. I specifically searched for places with a heated, indoor pool with an ocean view for us to enjoy during winter weather. The view was there. The pool must have been heated to keep it from forming ice, but it was not in any way comfortable. This was not simply my private opinion. Every single man and woman who came to the pool had the same thought

Beautiful hotel. Was there during the last tropical storm for a Conference. Staff was nice, but they could use a business center with a printer available rather than having to go to the desk and wait for the manager to contact the desk in order to get a code to authorize printing. Just a suggestion. 😊

One of the worst stays I ever had at ocean city. I would never stay at this hotel again. Checking in the girl at the front desk seem like I was just bothering her. The pictures online are definitely decisive. The pull out couch we couldn’t even use. The room has an awful smell. The shower you could never get the temperature right no matter how much you mess with it. You can tell they don’t clean the rooms since there was stuff all over the floor. We ask for some extra wash clothes which took over an hour to receive. The hot tub I didn’t even get in cuz how nasty it looked. For the price of

Our hotel suite was perfect for our family of 3! It was divided into a living area, a bathroom, and a bedroom that was separated by a door. It was ideal for a trip with a toddler who's bedtime is hours before any adult would want to go to bed.
You enter into a room with comfy seating, a TV, a kitchenette, and a roomy bathroom. There's a door that separates that space from the bedroom. The bedroom had a small balcony attached with a decent view of the beach / ocean.
The kitchenette had a pot and a skillet, 3-4 sets of forks/spoons/butter knives, a couple sharp cooking knives, a flipping spatula

The room was much nicer that it looked on the website, very spacious. The staff when checking in was courteous and we were able to check in well before the usual check in time. The outside bar area was nice with a lovely view of the ocean. We found our room to be very clean. When we encountered some employees in the hall and asked a question they were extremely kind and helpful. The only reason I cannot give this hotel 5 stars is because of the water temperature of the indoor pool. The water was so cold only children would swim in it. Everyone else was crowded into the hot tub, which was always

I don't think there are words enough to express what a great job the staff of the Princess Royale did for our large event of 400 members for our conference. The staff was extremely helpful, kind, and committed to making sure that they met all our needs and expectations....plus. I have been chairman for many events and this was by far the most cooperate staff and hotel that I have ever worked with. The meeting rooms were exactly the way we requested. The banquet was also set up the way we request, the food was hot, the services excellent. The front desk was pleasant, the rooms clean and very accommodating

This is for the 9100 Club. Don't miss out on the lounge in the morning. Mary is just the most wonderful person. She makes sure you have everything you need. Mimosas! No problem. She will get them. She also has great recommendations for places to eat and what to do.

The room was wonderful as well. Oceanfront. Dolphins. And even a fox on the dunes. I highly recommend a weekend getaway to the 9100 club at the Princess Royale. You won't be disappointed!

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your place. This web site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the highest rated in this area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few nights you definitely will love it I'm sure!
Great hotel, great customer service, and great location. I thought the room was a lot nicer in person than the pictures online too. Definitely plan on staying here again in the future!

Motel Six with a small kitchenette. The front desk advised me to go to floor 8 for coffee and pastries in the morning as stated on website. There was yet another handwritten sign and at that location nothing. I went to front desk and asked the same women who said those services were only for 900 club quests. The restaurant was closed for breakfast. It is just a large cheaply built building with Ocean views only if you careen your neck. On the positive It was clean and the rooms were large. This visit was in October an off season.

This is my first day at the resort and this is what I've encountered; room was dirty, refrigerator was dirty, Online pictures are misleading! Tried to take a shower and the water was off. When the staff finally fix the water issue, brown sewage water came out. Furniture and carpet is dirty. Mildew/mold/ water stains are on the ceiling. Paint chipping in various areas of the room. I'm going to ask for a refund. You would think since this is Covid that the staff would at least keep the rooms clean. Disgusted and disappointed!! See photos

This review is for the 9100 Club within The Princess Royal.

9100 Club rooms at The Princess Royal are brand new, ocean front, large and well appointed spaces with fantastic views from the bedroom and balcony. Everything we needed was here. The beach is wide and clean and easily accessed from the 9100 Club. The room rates were excellent considering what you are getting.

But wait for it...the very best thing about 9100 Club is Uncle Frank After unpacking, head straight to the Club lounge and unwind from your drive to the beach. Frank is among the most interesting and genuine people I have met

There is some good and some bad about this place. The king suite we stayed in was decent size with a small kitchen. It was fairly well maintained for what is an older building. Staff was generally helpful when needed. For the price to size I can't complain much. A resort this is not although I seems to try to want to be one. Our room was beach front and walked right to the beach access.

Housekeeping is essentially only before check in due to covid. What was shocking was maintenance coming into our room without a mask despite my wife and I wearing a mask. Unfortunately this seems to

The fact this place calls itself a resort is absolutely wild, but okay.

I'll stick to our biggest issue as it plagued our entire 4 day trip- our bathroom was FLOODED the entire time. No help, no changing rooms, no refunds.

Water was pooled around the sink and floor when we checked in- the room was disgusting so we assumed they just didn't clean. We wiped it up with a bunch of towels. It floods again, and now we can see it's pouring out of the base of the sink faucet where it connects to the top of the counter. They send maintenance out eventually- we know only because a bunch of

This hotel has the makings for a great place to vacay. The King suite overlooking the pool room where I stayed was dank, the sink was lopsided, the sofa was torn, and the refrigerator had a huge dent. I didn't feel comfortable, and was glad this was only an overnight business trip.

Do better. Please.

We just got back from a 4 day weekend. This place is AWFUL! It's all self service, not one staff cares they look tired and lost. The rooms are so outdated and so disgusting I don't think we saw a housekeeper the entire time we were there. We had to walk the floors searching for extra towels to shower. No one answers the phone it turns busy after ringing so many times then hangs up. Stay at your own risk. We dos get a beachfront but after requesting for weeks ahead for a higher floor even willing to pay for it they put us on the 2nd floor. Overpriced false advertising disgusting. Bathroom

Just Meh

I would not return. Spotty service - some good, some atrocious combined with a beat-up, dated, and poorly kept facilities plan is enough to make me seek other accommodations in the future. The manager with the stylized rows in his hair and German accent was particularly passive-aggressive and wholly unhelpful. Even some folks who work there had negative remarks about their new manager. Furniture was damaged, water stains on furniture, curtain rods were crooked. It may be a place to stay with families with small children who just need a hotel, but I would not recommend it to anyone looking

My family each year since 2014 stays at this hotel the first weekend of June it never changes to the point we ha e a contract. We always reserve a room block of 12-15 and this summer was no exception. Yes this hotel is dated and could use a face lift for sure but what was more obvious this time around was how dirty it was. I'll give examples. When checking in my room I noticed that their was hair in the bath tub but also I didn't have any hot water nor a stopper in the tub. Next my 3 year old ended up bringing me an empty chip bag and water bottle that she had got from under the bed.

I can't say enough bad things about this place.
$450 a night for a room I didn't ask for, a coffee pot that didn't work (overflowed everywhere), crap food from the restaurant, exterior doors that didn't work/broken (security risk since they were stairwell doors from outside that led directly to the room hallway), super small rooms (couldn't push my stroller in past the hard mounted table top), light on the patio that you could not cut off (bugs on the patio and light into the room at night). I would not pay $150 for a place like this, much less what I thought was a premium

Overpriced for the actual value. False advertising and Ineffective customer service.
Do not stay in room 114 the Cabana King. The ocean view is blocked with a tikibar and construction equipment. I booked the Cabana King for Saturday night with my mother and sister. It was extremely disappointing and in many ways false advertising. At check out I requested if money can be taken off the total cost since it was extremely over priced for the actual value of the room. The manager was unwilling to accommodate and gave me another manager's contact, Maurice. I wrote him on May 17, 2021 and he has

TL;DR - After 20+ glorious years at Princess Royale, we'll be staying elsewhere due to new management's frustrating changes, described below.

It truly breaks my heart to write this negative review. My family has sworn by Princess Royale for over 20 years. I have so many fantastic memories there. We loved it so much that we've even discussed buying a condo. (You can also read my previous rave review from May 24, 2017.)

But last weekend, things changed. We spent four nights for our wedding anniversary, as we do every year. The first two nights were business as usual - enjoying the

So my wife recommended this hotel as she had stayed here with her family many times before and it was everything I could ask for! The oceanfront view from our room was very calming and peaceful. Beautiful sunrises and you can catch the dolphins swimming close by if you're up early and lucky enough. There's a restaurant located at the hotel called Schooners that is great within itself! Beautiful views of the ocean, friendly staff, and the food is filling! Very good. Me and my wife got a massage while staying here and those ladies did not disappoint! The most calmest music, dim lit room
