Hey guys and gals! I'm Nick Wheeler, formerly of Southern Illinois where I started and shaped my craft for the last 17 years. I started out helping out the old man (Dad) with sessions during my senior year of high school. My Dad had just started professionally full time photographing and he was starting to get a client base and was getting busier.
The last thing as a high school kid that i wanted to do was work with my Dad. I mean come on, i worked at the local car stereo shop, the coolest place for a kid to work lol. So my Dad and the sneaky mind that he has decided to call on me to help when he was having a pretty high school senior to photograph.

We had so much fun with the Heistand's during their family portrait session. It was a surprise to them that we would be doing video on top of our photography that day but they handled it better than i could ever ask. Now they have a Live Wall Portrait hanging in their home for all to see for years to come.
The wedding with Jay and Kayla was a very cool early November day with just enough leaves left on the trees to help up capture some very beautiful fall portraits of them and their wedding party at their local park lake. The girls were real troopers with the weather and we even got featured in their local newspaper after we ran into a journalist out getting some fall portraits of his own for the paper!.

Nick has been taking pictures for our family since 2003. From weddings to baby pictures, to holiday photo shoots, he doesn’t disappoint. He works well with children - even little ones who are afraid of EVERYTHING. His work is professional, original, and beautiful. I highly recommend Nick Wheeler as a photographer for any occasion.

Nick is absolutely amazing! He was great to travel to our home town for our engagement session and incorporate our tractors as well as old cars. He was wonderful at our wedding getting all the shots that were important to us as well as ensuring each side of our families were included in pictures. Nick went above and beyond our expectations! Our pictures are so unique and perfect in every way. Also cannot forget to mention our gorgeous wedding album that Nick obviously spent a great deal of time perfecting. I could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our special day. We are lifetime
