From his beginnings as a Stylist's apprentice in Tel Aviv with one of Israel's most noted professionals, to his acclaimed full service exclusive Salon in Del Mar, California, Haim Knister has enjoyed a very colorful and successful career in the beauty and fashion industry. In his early 20's Haim ventured to London to continue his advance training under Vidal Sassoon.

I’m so grateful I found this place! They have have fantastic service, great prices and amazing stylist. Karla was so helpful, providing information on which products are best for my hair. The cut she gave me was so wonderful, it made my hair look radiant and was perfectly layered. My husband and kids were very impressed–I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here for years for a reason. Sonya has always put in her artistic touch and listened to whatever my vision was making sure she delivers 100% or talks me out of it. I trust her. She’s knowledgeable, punctual (I never have time), has a vision and MAKES IT HAPPEN! Some things shouldn’t be complicated and I feel always taken care of whenever I’m in her hands. I had a terrible experience at this salon. I asked for a balayage and the stylist completely just bleached my hair. Not only was it not what I asked for but it looked terrible. Patchy and orange. When I got home and realized how bad my hair actually was. When I put it in a pony tail it looked like only half my hair was dyed. I called the salon in tears. They refused to take me back until 3 days later. I had to goto another salon to fix my botched hair that same day. When I asked for a refund, the assistant manager Christina was VERY rude and hung up on me. I called back and received my refund.

I have been coming to Sonya at Haim salon for the past 7 years for my hair color/cuts. She always listens to what I want, and makes suggestions when I don’t know what I want! She is the best and I won’t go anywhere else! Also, I feel very safe coming in with the precautions they are taking during Covid. You won’t be disappointed!

The receptionists make the salon look bad. I've never had a good experience with any of them. No one should feel bad after a hair appointment, especially at the high prices of this place. Maybe I'm too old fashioned but I take customer service very seriously. Even if you abide by the 24 hour change/cancellation policy, there is always a cold shoulder and attitude.

I had a wonderful, successful and fun experience at this salon. I had a very horrible haircut and color at another salon. But, Karla listened to me, believed me and carried out a foil, cut and style that were perfect. She spent hours on my hair, never acted hurried and was a joy to be around. I couldn't recommend this spa and its stylists more. In fact, I saw another woman's hair that was the most beautiful color I have ever seen. It was dark brown with a hint of burgundy. I had to ask her stylist how he accomplished this color. So, if you need excellent colorists and stylists

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a geniuine smile. The entire staff is welcoming and true professionals, Im comfortable seating in any of haims chairs, as ive seen diffent stylist each time and im always amazed on how talented each stylist is. I'm thrilled to have found Haim Salon. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and when seated the stylist next to me said hello to me by name. She remembered me because she booked the appointment! It was a great feeling to be welcomed so quickly like I'd been going there for years.

Worst place ever!!! They have a Russian lady that can't even speak or understand English !! Got no where near what I asked for then told me that they wouldn't fix it without charging me ful price!! The owner and manager even admitted that it looked bad but didn't fix it!! I have about 3 story's from there like that! I wanted to believe it was me or something! I tried to get my makeup done there for 150 it looked so bad and no where near a pro level! Even the Kardashians make up artist said it didn't look like good makeup was even being used! Tony did an excellent job! I am used to a good salon service like De Tour in Encinitas, owner Kirk. Today, my friend's gift to go to Haim was low expectations. But Tony was very personable, fast and great job. Receptionist was very friendly and salon looked very clean and peaceful. Tony's consultations was spot on. My hair color was a perfect shade for my skin tone! I loved his good shampoo. He took time to massage entire scalp! He took time to adjust length and shape by making me standing in front of him. I have bever been to a salon where the prices of the services vary from stylist to stlyist... one time I paid one amount for a blow out and then another amount for another blowout. Also, the stylists all talk about eachother and found that to be extremly unprofessional...for example the unprofessional lady who did my hair extensions or whatever they are called would not shut up about telling me how she knew that the other stlyists were taking products from the salon with higher mangment brushing it under the rug... what a salon..sadly, its just a hole there in such a beautiful hotel... plus I bought

I went to Haim Salon for the first time. I'm very picky with my hair. My former stylist was a celebrity hair stylist in LA- she set my standards pretty high so there's no doubt I was hesitant to go to someone new. But since moving back to SD, I wanted to find someone a little closer. My friend recommended Ana Boggiano. After checking out some of her work, I decided to go for it. She touched up my balayage adding more lighter pieces, lightened up my roots, toned my hair overall, and trimmed the ends to clean-up my shoulder-length bob. I was absolutely impressed with her work.

I had never been to this Haim Salon location before and I am very pleased with my first experience. The girls were all so upbeat and friendly. I went in to get my jet black hair lightened to a medium/dark . I had been dying it black myself, out of a box for 4 years, rotating permanent and semi permanent inconsistently.. Well, I learned when I got there that that whole combination was about the worst case scenario you could have when wanting to go lighter.

Love the Park Hyatt Aviara but not this salon. I was given a $20 off any service when I was here for an event. When I asked how much the blowouts were, they told me the resident rate was $45. of course when I came in it was all of a sudden $54. The salon is never busy. It took her 30 minutes to blow my hair out. Super overpriced but again the hotel makes up for it.

WOW! I went to Haim for the first time and as someone with hair down to my bottom and only have ever liked 1 haircut I have received... I am very impressed. Ana Boggiano did such a great job on my hair and was SO understanding when I told her it was my first time ever getting color and how nervous I was. Not to mention I have been searching the exact style and color I want for months (we all know its nearly impossible to get it exact), and Ana was able to do that! She not only did a wonderful, subtle, cut and ombre on me, but was so warm and welcoming to everyone entering the salon. You can tell

My cousin- Lori has an appointment with Bridgette. As we walked in, they greeted us nicely and my cousin got seated right away. Bridgette is very knowledgable and professional. She knows my cousin wants to have her hair color but she keeps asking us to make sure we are on the same page and what will look good on my cousin. The process takes about 3 hours and a half for the whole haircut and highlights. Unlike some asian salons in OC- where we used to go get our hair done, Bridgette was patient foiling every small section on my cousin's hair. I was surprised because this is our first experience

Your experience begins with a beautiful smile and greeting by their receptionist Cynthia. My mom and I had an appointment with Hiam the owner and it was one of the best hair experiences we ever had. His care and love for the art form of hair is refreshing compared to other so called "hair dressers" that do not really put 100% in their work unlike Hiam. His creativity and genuine joy for doing hair create a relaxing and happy ambiance in his whole salon. Overall his whole staff are well trained by Hiam and make you hair experience there something other than the average hair color or cut. In conclusion
