Education is a keystone of success at Pistachio Cut & Color Bar. Our AVEDA Artists participate in advanced, team-based training that includes hands-on practice under master stylists in order to refine and elevate their skills. In addition to in-salon education, Pistachio stylists regularly attend AVEDA workshops taught by skilled industry professionals to stay current with the latest developments in hair care, color, and design.
This is a celebration for Retired, Active, Reserve and/or Former Marines and their spouses, and Friends of the Marine Corps. Join your colleagues at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, and spend the evening meeting and speaking with our veteran, retired and active duty Marines who have proudly served. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 9:15 a.m. at the new pickleball courts and at 10 a.m. at the playground.

I have consistently received excellent haircuts from Pistacio. I’ve worked with 3 different stylists (based upon who was available when I needed a visit) and I’ve been pleased with all 3. The staff has always been pleasant and provided excellent communication and flexibility when scheduling appointments.

It has been extremely challenging to find a hair salon/hair stylist that really listened and actually was able to execute the perfect hair style and color for me. I am 69 years young so as you can imagine I have had many hair stylists over the years. Unfortunately in almost all cases I was dissatisfied and I began to think that what I was asking for was impossible to achieve until I met RJ at Pistachio. My regular hairstylist moved her business into her home out in Temecula during Covid, and the next hairstylist I found gave birth to her second child and quit working, so I am in desperate need of a stable, talented hairstylist. I decided to give Pistachio a try based on their great reviews. I made my appointment a month in advance because I had an important event coming up. My 50th birthday, coinciding with a family road trip to send my youngest off to college in Oregon. A busy, stressful, emotional time in any Mom's life. I was really looking forward to a couple hours of being taken care of.

I originally picked Pistachio because it was an Aveda Salon but I’ve stayed with them because of the wonderful service. Just this week I had a cut with RJ and the next day total strangers were stopping me to compliment my hair! RJ shepherded me through going grey during Covid…he listened to what I wanted and carried it off with aplomb. Always a treat to see him and the rest of the staff.

I feel so grateful to have found Roman at Pistachio :) I had been with the same stylist for almost 30 years and he is retiring. Roman is kind, funny, professional, thorough & so knowledgeable. I tell my friends when I am going to see him that I am getting "Romanized"! I highly recommend getting Romanized :)

This is the best Aveda salon ever! I have been going to Aveda salons for many years. Lucy did a fabulous job on my hair! I received the perfect blunt cut bob. This was my first time at this salon and It had been over a year since I had received a haircut. Lucy understood my hair and I just love my new cut! Amazing experience! I love the attention and love they give my lovely locks! Pistachio not only has amazing products but amazing staff. I’ve been here twice and each time has been stellar. No one is rushing to get you in and out of the salon. Great attention to the coloring and cut. Definitely recommend this salon.
