We proudly serve quality seafood by working closely with local fishermen, all natural shellfish farms and purveyors of wild caught products of the highest standards. The owners of the fine-dining spot Marker 32, The Fish Camps, and Valley Smoke, opened this seafood restaurant in Jacksonville Beach, Florida in 2015, and rebranded to Dockside Seafood Restaurant in 2020.

I travel all over the US for business. I’m always asking, what’s the best place to eat in town. I was not steered wrong coming here! OMG! I had the Trigger Fish basket (which I never heard of) and it was incredible! The hush puppies were the best I have ever had. I could have made a dessert just on those. Wish you were in Texas!

Very casual great seafood restaurant. You order at the front counter and they bring your meal to your table. We ordered mahi grilled. Side of fries and cole slaw. Service was really fast and people were friendly. We will def be back again. Food was great. It's a no frills fish place but a view of the waterway and great tasting food.

Dockside Seafood Restaurant is a little hard to find but the GPS system used to locate it worked well. We ended up right in front of the restaurant and there is a large sign which makes it very visible once the person looking for it is in the right place.
There is a large display of fish on ice upon entering the restaurant. Depending on a person's sensibilities, this can be a good or bad greeting. The fish were large, appeared to be fresh, and, of course, this is a seafood restaurant.

I have had lunch and dinner here dozens of times and have always been happy with every meal I have ever had here.
The service continues to be excellent. Management has chosen to hire a lot of college age staff and they all are so very clean cut,respectful and responsive. Absolutely great job on the hiring.
The specialty of the house is anything fried, although blackened and broiled come out excellent as well.
I have tried almost everything on the menu and my favorite is the Blackened Redfish with Greens and Coleslaw.
My better half loves the fried shrimp.

Excellent lunch. Had the fried calamari basket. The seasoned fries were tasty and crisp. The calamari was large and tender. And we had the tuna salad. The fresh tuna slices were well seasoned atop a bed of spinach leaves. All the dipping sauces were yummy. And.... we sat outside and watched the boats dock and launch from the local boat ramp. Good times

Outstanding fresh seafood with excellent service by the staff. I highly recommend the blackened shrimp and scallops as both was fantastic. The hush puppies were incredible as well.

One of my favorite places…still…I guess they recently changed names or ownership…idk. But the staff is still super friendly. There is indoor and outdoor sitting. I guess I love anything beside the water. The fish is always cooked right…like it’s flaky and moist and crispy on the outside. I love their okra. It seems their portions are smaller but overall they are hard to beat.
They still have complimentary parking. I’m not sure how many times I went before I realized the parking was free😂

Always the most fresh seafood! Nothing beats local, wild caught fish! From gator bites, to the soup choices, to the entrees- everything is delicious. Love that you can swap fries for veggies or a salad. Never have left unsatisfied. Wonderful service, clean seating areas and clean open kitchen. Bathrooms are also clean! Beautiful marina views. Fish is always cooked perfectly. Can’t recommend enough!

Nice clean place! Laid-back atmosphere with great view. You've gotta be there early if you don't wanna wait in line for too long. Some dishes have good price. I've got the beer battered Haddock. The Southerners have the best anything fried 😉 even the Hush Puppy tasted great.
The only draw back I know is that one of us ordered something chowder (?) It was pretty salty
