I was blown away by this unassuming restaurant in its location. This was one of our favorite meals on our trip to Jax Beach when I was craving Italian. We were delighted to see they had a live band and patrons dancings to a few of the romantic ballads. My baked manicotti hit the spot and their tiramisu was very traditional. The vibe inside is romantic, authentic and our service was just what we needed.

The food was absolutely fantastic. We had chicken francese and pasta Bolognese. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Could have had more sauce but honestly, we ordered door dash and I preferred the chicken was not soggy. As for the Bolognese, the pasta was cooked perfectly! You could taste the meat and the vegetables. It was a tad sweet but really good. I can only imagine how good it would have been if we ate it in the restaurant. Was a loyal customer for months. They heard “carbonara” and not “Montonara” over the phone so they put in the wrong order. They would only discount $5 off the $19 meal for THEIR mistake. I disputed that with the bartender and he explained “he didn’t make the rules.” The owner acted like he didn’t care at all if I was unhappy. I payed the $14 for the wrong food because I didn’t want to wait “another 25 minutes” to get the right order and, honestly, it wasn’t good. I’m sad I won’t be going back there but even more sad they showed no empathy or customer service to a regular

This is the first time I have been at this restaurant. I was in the area for a work conference and was welcomed by Kierra, a wonderful bartender, who was helpful with recommending food and drink choices! I had the chicken parmesan and a salad with their house dressing as well as a dirty martini. Overall, this experience was one that I won’t forget and I plan on revisiting Gusto’s again

Love love love. I can't Believe how many times I've gone to the post office, and pass this place nonchalantly. The food is so yummy. The place has live music, very classically played. The decor is kind of an old Italy field, a little dated but I get what they're portraying and it's clean.
I love the little semi-private tables for dinner in addition to the open dining room. Something for everyone. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile and warmth. Everyone was super friendly, very attentive, and the food came out freshly made. I can't wait to go back

I didn’t like the food at all. I ordered pasta with bolognese sauce and they gave me tomatoes sauce. The chair was sticky when I arrived and had to ask someone to clean it.

Always feel like family when I dine at the famous Gusto's of Jax! The 904 is lucky to have such an authentic Italian place to have a pallet pleasing experience. I've been coming here for over seven years solo, in groups, special occasions and it never disappoints. From pesce pasta dishes, to the napoli style pizza, the must have meatball antipasti, not to mention the wine choices - molto bene.

This place is great. Live music plus very friendly staff and atmosphere. I must say my favorite dish is by far the Italian wedding soup. Omg to die for. Like I literally wanted to take some home with me. It's by far the best soup I've ever tried. We shared the caprice salad which I loved. I ordered the pizza for dinner which was delicious and my boyfriend had the chicken marsala. We both left super satisfied.

Tried this restaurant on our last night in town and we wish we had chosen somewhere else. Our server could not remember anything. Kids milks took 1/2 hour, extra silverware, napkins you'd wait forever. Food was lacking flavor and pasta over cooked soggy sticky mess. Best part of our meal was the mussels that we had cooked in white wine instead of marinara and the salad. We like to dine at the mom and pop style restaurants however this one missed its mark and for the $200 bill we had, left disappointed and still hungry.

An overall disappointing experience, the servers here haven’t been trained to serve tables like a normal server, they all trail off and linger around the table and don’t know how to end the interaction. The lasagna and manicotti tasted like store bought ragu. I would never claim to know how to cook real Italian food but I’ve made better food myself so I will not be coming back unless serious changes are made.

James, our server, was fabulous! We were seated promptly and he came over to introduce himself and take our drink order. We asked some questions about the menu. When he brought our drinks he said he just spoke with the chef to make recommendations. I'm vegan so it can sometimes be a little issue to find out what can be modified on the menu. But when the server is ready, prepared and spoke with the chef he has me as a customer forever. The food was great too!

Poor management? Possibly all of the above.. SO disappointed with my pick up order last night and the service we received. We picked up the food from the blonde bartender lady, she forgot the calzone and tried to tell me it was in the bag. Finally she gave it to me and I went to my house to eat. The Alfredo sauce was complete liquid, no cheese, no cream. Tasted just like milk and water with peas in it... and cinnamon? Complete disaster, no thickness to it at all. The chef put ham all over the Alfredo pastas when It was suppose to be chicken only. When I called

I am not sure how I have over looked this Italian gem that is so close to the beach. Going inside was stepping back into to Little Italy in New York, complete with the owner coming around to check on your food with an open shirt and gold chains
We made reservations but we were late. We still found a table open, not the best table in the house, but certainly nothing to be ashamed about. There are tables in an alcove area that seem a lot more private, so if you call ahead ask for one of those.
But on to the food:

First night in Jacksonville for the @jaxarmadafc invitational and had the honor of eating @gusto and we cannot remember when service has been that good! Gloria was truly the most amazing person and I felt a part of the família!! Wow... highly recommend this place!! @matheuszinho_7677 is now carved up and ready to perform! We will be back again before we leave on Monday, that’s how good this place is! Even if you don’t get a house salad with your meal, do yourself a favor and ORDER one! The dressing is so amazing!! Everything was done scratch and you could tell because of the flavor it was
