I moved to Madison a few years ago and had to find a new mechanic. A friend said they went here so I took my car here as well. I've been taking every vehicle I've owned since here. They always do great work and are always willing to answer any and all questions. Although usually be prepared for a 1-2 week wait because they are usually pretty busy. Prices have always been great and once they have your car they seem to fix it pretty quick.

Finally, an honest hard working local mechanic that wants to see you again when you need help with your car. I just had my transmission lines replaced. A horrible job at best on an older car. I was quoted $730 at a repair facility near Costco in Middleton. I felt that was a huge rip-off. Cross Plains Motors, a modern, new, hometown facility, did a very professional job quickly and efficiently for $310. They are located at 1401 Bourbon Road in Cross Plains. Ginger works the counter and was very helpful and friendly. I discussed the problem with Chester the owner. He offered a lesser expensive short
